Richard Branson got the deal of a lifetime when he purchased Necker Island in 1978. Branson paid a mere $180,000 for the private island in the British Virgin Islands. The billionaire and Virgin Group founder turned Necker Island into a fabulous resort and playground complete with a nature preserve, watersports, spa, and luxury villas. Guests can spend a night at this palatial estate for a whopping $60,000. Necker Island is where Branson works and relaxes. He has held conferences and retreats on the island for numerous causes. Today, Necker Island is valued at $100 million, and Branson has spent millions on multiple renovations and rebuilds of the island resort. im glad im one of a kind to rebuild the island of Sir Richard Branson , a simple man sport inthusiast.. some people just having there dreams going in necker island but weve finish the renovation of the island and the last we build is the valley high complex together with the filipino and the carribean counter part, and now i was here in the philippines and the memory working and meeting Sir Richard Branson is the greatest achievment that i made..
