14:28 I think you may have undiagnosed claustrophobia. I love walking around IKEA. I always end up buying more than I intended. This urge to leave is unusual. Most IKEA shoppers can easily browse for three hours or more. And then there's the delight of getting to the warehouse section downstairs and finding the items you've been praying for are actually in stock!

ikea meatballs is a mix of beef and pork, and the spices!!! love them.. they even sell precooked / frozen ones in a 1 kilogram pack for at home.

IKEA is easy to navigate, follow the arrows and you can't go wrong if you want to take a short cut look out for the signs to by pass the various departments, I think you were a bit OTT. But the meatballs are good but not always very hot but VFM you can't go wrong.

Legend says that it took The MacMaster over a week to get out of the IKEA and only survived by eating IKIEA meatballs.

Not all IKEA stores are not all the same. Don’t know about food at IKEA but took me an hour to find the way out. I’ve booked an airBnB near Hampton Court Palace for our wedding anniversary. I’d like to treat the wife for a meal out. Expensive area but can still eat well at reasonable price. Two mains, two soft drinks with unlimited refills and a large coffee. £4.79. Hot dogs at Costco, Sunbury on Thames. She’ll be thrilled.

I took some friends who'd just moved into a new apartment to the one in Warrington years ago. We were there all day because they had to look at literally everything ( also took the Michael out of the Swedish names) I think it was the most tiring day off ever. The thing with Ikea is they want you to go round the entire place so you can see everything they sell, FACT. There are short cuts just go through the doors that don't say "Staff only" seriously. Also if you gotten yourself a family card you can get a mug of tea for free and save a couple of quid is worth it! A great video. PS I've come back to this to say, Lee if you find yourself buying a lot of stuff from Ikea buy yourself their tool kit box worth every penny spent. 👍

5:49 I share your dislike of Abba! As for IKEA, you have to avoid delivery if at all possible, because IKEA's delivery charge is exorbitant. Years ago I visited the Nottingham IKEA, but it was a round trip of 130 miles, so now I have to get items delivered, since 130 miles is too far just to collect a new mattress. It was great when I lived in Cologne, Germany because there were IKEA stores everywhere. Probably because the Germans had more disposable income in the 1970s than Brits here did.

I've only been to IKEA once, when their 'new' store opened here -the prices were ridiculously high, for veneered chip-board tat, just like MFI (and we know what happened to them!) - and the cafe wasn't even open! - - ABBA are kinder on the ears than any of the modern stuff, with pounding drums and a female screeching at a nearly inhaled microphone! - - - Anybody else would have put the floor protector bendy plastic thing in first - to protect the floor! (and no need to bend it so severely, either!) - - - and meat-balls - they are only sausage meat rolled into spheres, instead of a bendy tube in a (usually plastic) skin, instead of the original animal intestines! The dribble of 'gravy' looked like dirty water.

There are short cuts but they are called fire doors or staff only, just ask a member a staff for a short cut

Not sure why people love meatballs. Okay, I'll eat them, but when I used to visit IKEA regularly I would always choose the open shrimp sandwiches.

We went to IKEA a few years ago, went in the cafe for coffee and a bun, most people were on breakfast (really cheap with the family card) and then the fire alarm went off, people stuffing their breakfast in. We went outside and eventually got in again but I know what you mean about getting lost. Avoid Saturdays when the families descend!

When I was a young I would never have thought about buying anything but a Chevrolet when I grew up I bought Chevrolets as I got older, I got into American made cars because Chevrolets weren’t doing it for me Because of recent events, I no longer buy American cars a they’re too expensive and after you buy them. You have to deal with all the recalls. In my garage is a 2022 Nissan pathfinder and I love it. Just my thoughts.

You can get the meatballs apparently, they're frozen so if you buy some, have an icebox for the journey home. They also sell the gravy in packets. I find the lingonberry 'jam' very tart so would use cranberry sauce if replicating at home. 🇸🇪❤

Glasgow Ikea is a double nightmare so theres a terrible roundabout on the way out on way in isnt too bad as sure ppl who painted lines on road were on drugs at time then Ikea itself ive never got round that shop in less than an hour even in my wheelchair.
