Very interesting. Considering also the visuals, the overall direction actually shift a bit. I feel PS4 version is kind of vibrant and "noisy", compared to the PS5 version.

Totally, much more noisy. Love it of course, but super noisy compared to it. Video 2 coming now

Thank you for the comparison. When you are saying that the new PS5 version is smoother, you mean the high-end is less accented or just better overall mix/levels balance?

Yea, it's like the mix and overall feel is much more pleasing. Much better use of transients vs. Overall loudness, everything is much more clear

Im using a dedicated 5.1 home theater system. Idk if its just me but the audio mix sounds low and the LFE channel is nearly non-exisitant. I fired up the Remastered version and it sounds ways better... wtf.

Did you set it in the menu as well. To play 5.1 and so on ?

@@CujoSound I fixed it. I had to change the PS5 hdmi settings from TV to AV amplifier. Which isn't correct since I use eARC from the TV to the amp. Oddly I had this issue with Rachet and Clank too. All other games sound fine with the previous setting. Anyway, glad I was able to fix it so I can enjoy this masterpiece.

@@KrisHTX omg thank you so much, I was just coming down here to write how the game isn’t even triggering my sub when every other part of my PS5 was. Just saved me a massive headache y’all 🙏🏼 great video btw, love insight into things like this :)
