I will unironically jam to nu metal until the day I die. No one's shaming me on this; it's always struck a chord with me.

The "Daddy" segment hit me SO hard. I'm lucky to have not had to go through what Johnathan went through, but I just wish I was there in the studio so I could bust into the booth and give the guy a hug.

As cringe Nu Metal was to some people, it was a breath of fresh air the community needed. Why? Well that’s how yours truly got into Metal. And Korn was one of those bands.

Good review, thanks, I agree with many of your statements. Your final question; "What's wrong with KoRn", my answer: nothing. They are still not only relevant today, but also still very good. KoRn will always be unique for their originality, rawness, emotions, and comfort giving uncomfortable topics. Plus I feel they really care for their loyal fanbase, and stay in touch with them via performances and several media, which I highly appreciate. Piece 🤘

KORN is one of the best ever in my humble opinion. They have always been original, unafraid to try new things and brutally honest lyrics and sound. 25+ years later and they are still rocking the fuck out!! There is a reason why they are still making awesome music after all these years. They are insanely talented, love what they do and are great to their fans.

I'm a bit of a 1990s nut, and I'm so happy that trends from the late 1990s - mid 2000s have become alternatives in the present. KoRn are a prime example of '90s metal, and it's awesome they're still going well in the present. I really should listen to more of their work, as I haven't heard much from them, but HEY! Anything as long as its better than the band currently known as Rage In Perfect Tandem With The Machine! (sorry) EDIT: Just listened to "A.D.I.D.A.S.". Still holds up, with a tongue-in-cheek chorus and a memorably darkly playful music video as well. "ALLLL DAY IIIII DREAM ABOOOOUT h-humpin'".

One of the things I'd say they've always done right (at least as far as Paradigm Shift, can't speak to after that) is that they never made the same album twice. Is every new idea of theirs a hit? Of course not, especially in the 2000's when members started leaving, but there's no way I'm ever gonna mix up a track from Untouchables with one from See You On the Other Side, or that with Untitled, or that with Korn III, etc. etc. Every new album brought something we hadn't heard from them before, and as someone who got into them much later on it was always interesting to explore. And sure, Path of Totality may have been laughed at when it was made --- nu metal and dubstep, it was like the perfect peanut butter and chocolate combo to clown on (no pun intended) --- but if anything now I'd say they were ahead of their time in seeing how metal and heavier electronic genres can go together nicely.

8:19 technically AC/DC Played bagpipes in their song It's a long way to the top but than again they aren't considered metal by most and are considered hard rock just saying

You would be correct in bringing that up if I said Korn were the first band in general to do it, but yes, I don't consider AC/DC to be a metal band.
