Everyone is born unique, and that's what makes the world such a wonderful place. But every once in a while, a mean girl is born and she won't stop until she gets what she thinks she deserves. Audrey was never on-board with Ben allowing four Villain Kids to leave the Isle of the Lost to attend Auradon Prep. But regardless, she put her best face forward and welcomed the new arrivals with back-handed compliments. Mal saw right through Audrey's good-girl act from the get-go, which led to them having an unspoken rivalry. By the end of "Descendants 3," Audrey and Mal would bury the hatchet once Mal finally apologized for stealing Audrey's boyfriend and future title.
But let's face it, Audrey is the Queen of Mean for a reason. Sure, Mal stole her boyfriend and bedazzled crown, but Audrey was a mean girl a long time before Mal came along. In this video from TheThings, we reveal what really should have happened to Audrey in "Descendants 3."

Tbh, I think Hades was willing to wake Audrey because Mal asked him to. And since they worked on their relationship, and he saw how much Mal wanted to write her wrongs, he wanted to do right by his daughter.

I honestly think Hades always loved his daughter, and would do anything for her, but he left his mom because he had to and it was probably best for mal and probably for hades sanity. I think someone mentioned that hades asked about mal all the time when she was growing up which I think helps the idea that he does care.

Yep aurora and Philip should gave taught there daughter manners and aurora should of told her mum to stop putting pressure on her granddaughter. I think it's funny that Audrey is nothing like her mum , her mum was sweet, polite and kind. And Cinderella and prince charming son is completely opposite of her mum and dad. I bet he was spoilt by his grandfather just like Audrey from her grandmother. But mel and Evie,Jay and carlos were nothing like there parents in there case they didn't want to be they there parents

But remember the enchanted lake broke the spell. And even before the spell you can easily see Ben was very uncomfortable around Audrey. That’s a key sign that they weren’t meant to be. Ben only went with it because he is the future king. Audrey just wanted status. Do you can say that Mal’s spell reveal the truth

0:01-0:33 HA!! So true!!! Just what I always think. Also yeah Audrey is Aurora’s polar opposite. She’s nothing like her mother in personality ironically and is more like her grandma. Well yeah she has STATUS as expected of a princess and just like her parents and that’s also why they didn’t punish her so severely. Plus they realized her acts weren’t entirely unprovoked as she was driven by jealousy and being robbed of a role her family had prepared her for all her life. So it’s understandable she felt really BAD and really SAD by all of this. And anyway most of it is Queen Leah’s fault for being so strict and demanding towards Audrey.

Actually, Audrey did get a punishment. Audrey and Celia (Sarah Jeffery and Jadah Marie) sung a song called “Audrey’s Christmas Rewind”, where Audrey tries to list reasons on why her Christmas shouldn’t be taken away from her and why she deserves presents, which meant they cancelled her Christmas for the year.

So audrey gets punished, but Mal messed up in both previous movies : tried to steal the wand, enchanted Ben into loving her, broke into the museum , left her duties in Auradon and went back to to the isle just bcs she felt it was too much ( again, she put herself in the queen place bcs she wanted..) . And Mal doesn’t get punished, bcs she is the queen..

Can we just take a moment to actually realize that Mal stole Audrey's boyfriend, status, future, people that loved her and literally her entire life with a spell and Mal deserved nothing she got and owed Audrey an apology for a really long time. I don’t like the comment “she seems to be in love with herself”. Yeah she did some evil things but I feel like Audrey is misunderstood and deep down just wants to be loved and appreciated. I mean I like Mal, but she did take everything away from her. Plus her grandmother certainly didn’t help matters.

I feel like in a lot of conversations of Audrey and the scepter, many believe the scepter turned her evil. But, doesn't Audrey literally sing that "They're gonna bow to the evil queen/just wait until they fall to my wicked schemes" (and "I will be the leader of the dark and the bad" "It's calling me the queen of mean") so she sort of already planned to do something wicked that would label her an evil queen and have some sort of impact on others (in some interpretations, fall could be to hurt someone else or literally destroy them). And this was before the scepter appeared to tempt her. Idk, it seemed like she fully planned to do something after she threw away the crown, but the scepter offered her an easier and more devastating way to do it, and it did lure her with promises of vengeance. I don't doubt that the scepter influenced her and made her original plans worse, but it wasn't ALL the scepter that turned her "evil", she was planning something before all that. Which is why I agreed with Hades, it wasn't fair how they treated Audrey compared to the other Villains just because she was a "hero kid". Idk, just my opinion :)

I think Ben might be the villain of D3, and there is a logical explanation for that: 1. Ben decides to let the VKs go to Auradon 2. The VKs come from the Isle 3. Ben and Mal fall in love 4.Ben and Mal get engaged 5. Queen Leah puts pressure on Audrey 6. Audrey gets angry and takes the Scepter and Crown 7. Audrey puts a sleep spell on everyone This series of events unfolded from when BEN decided to give the VKs a chance to live in Auradon, so it's Ben's fault that Audrey took the Scepter and cursed everyone, hope this explains
