Spice and Wolf was the first anime that got me "hooked" on anime. I definitely recommend it.

its not really about economics....its about trade deals.....exchange rates and panganism/christian culture shock, economics are more....

I've seen the show many times and love it even though I HATE economics. I watched it a few times subbed but I prefer dubbed. At times the show can be very dialog heavy with economy talk so its like reading a textbook, the dub makes going through that easier. Plus the voices are great.

harmony of the love story and economy story is one of the best thing in this anime! (plus, holo is soooooo cute!)

Spice and wolf is probably one of top 5 anime ever. It's actually what I voted for instead of the other anime for the watch party, sorry for not chose shirobako but I just love spice and wolf to much and it would of been great to get everyones opinion on each episode. Anyway Yeah Anime and for any beard bros out there later man.

I loved it but almost dozzed off when they started explaining economics. Its sad how I watched it before the new semester where I actually learned economics in class and understood it but I didn't want to watch it again.

I didn't find the Economy boring. The Economics is actually the reason why I decided to watch Spice & Wolf in the first place.

why emphasise dub, why not stick on the directors choice of Japanese voice actors. Does the dub personnel get contact with the creators or original cast that they would put their voice on their work?

+VoidX depends on the genre. well, i absolutely loved Fruits Basket and Obviously Death Note. i've seen a lot but those two stuck around and there's the full length movies like Spirited Away and Howls moving castle. currently though, I'm very into attack on titan, like everyone else

+VoidX it's overrated because it's good. i've seen other studio Gibli movies but those two r special to me. the first scared me to death when i was younger and gave me terrible nightmares and i only appreciated how good it was when i grew up, and the other had a beautiful love story in its dark corners. As for anime series i watched pandora hearts which was good. i was also recently done with Black Butler, eh it was fine. liked the chemistry between the butler and the boy though. .. suggest something for me, but i need to see love in what i watch. Special class A, Ouran high school host club were also good and funny ...
