Glad that you traveled outside the usual tourist attractions! I would also recommend Iwakuni (in between Hiroshima and Yamaguchi) and Akiyoshidai (near Yamaguchi)

Great video! I am curious for your feedback. Right now, my plan is to do 2.5 days in Kyoto, a half day to Nara and then heading to Himeji and Hiroshima staying the night and hitting up Miyajima the next day. I am wondering though, do you think Hiroshima and Miyajima are a good idea or would you just do an extra day in Kyoto? It is hard because they seem to be really pretty but there's so much in Kyoto.

Hmmmm I personally would probably just add the extra time to Kyoto because all the main areas are so spread out & take longer than you’d expect to get to. Your current plan is totally possible but sounds tiring lol no matter what way you go, definitely wear comfortable shoes! I hope this helps! Have a great time on your trip!

@@remishimazu Yeah I was able to make it 3 full days in Kyoto plus an extra morning in Kyoto on way to Nara while also getting this in. Hopefully it is enough time haha. I cut out Kanazawa though 😅
