Thank you for your time and posting. I read the BDQ before going to my C & P, and I wrote down my answers in order of the DBQ questions. This was incredibly helpful during the review. I even gave the rep a copy. I am still waiting for the VA response.

@@prestigeveteranmedical What if you experienced low FEV1 but now that you are taking x2 high dose steroids (Inhaled) and a bi monthly injection of immuno suppresant your FEV1 is now around 80-85%? Like I know it is black and white but do they take into account that your FEV is only good because of the amount of meds one is on.... No one can seem to answer me on this.

VA accepted my claim for asthma recently but only at 10% even with inhalers. Now I'm appealing with additional evidence showing I have inhalers, which should put me at 30% from what I read. Such a frustrating process.

Was diagnosed asthma VA since 2018 took two of these test prescribed medications for it. I've been denied twice for my claims last one January 2022 put the damn claim in again August 2023 now waiting and yes im a first gulf War vet

I was diagnosed with asthma by a private doctor, after being on the burn pit registry since they started it. They accepted my proof from the private doctor tests, then denied my claim. A week later, the PACT Act passed. I appealed. They suddenly weren't willing to accept the evidence from before. They called and said that I may or may not get a phone call from a doctor on a certain date, if they had any more questions regarding my diagnosis. They also set up an in lerson appointment. No call ever came, so I assumed they didn't have any questions. The day before the in person appointment, I get an email saying it was canceled. I called to ask why, and they said because I didn't answer their call or call back. I told them I never missed a call and asked why a voicemail wasn't left. They agreed that it was odd and they normally leave a voicemail, but said I'm SOL.

@@prestigeveteranmedical I'm going through a firm now, but they said they can't address any previous claims that were filed prior to talking with them. I've never heard of a WH number. I'll look into it. Thank you.

Like all your videos and are very helpful. I was diagnosed that I have Asthma but the PFT was normal. Is this even possible? And the CT shows that I have Bronchiectasis

They are still sending packages. However, they are not accompanied with the DBQ. -currently undergoing bdd process with scheduled c&p exams

I got asthma after I came back from Desert storm. I was in a area that had oil fields burning day and night. So I've put up with this since I got back. I loved the military and I made myself get out in 1991 when we got back. Now I finally got an appointment with a doctor. Then va called back and I have to get x- rade to see my lungs. Is that normal ?

That is something you will want to address with a legal professional. I am not really sure why but I assume it is because it is more of an administrative decision

If you have your diagnosis for back email Prestige. That’s what I did! With the nexus letter Prestige did I was able to get service connected lower back to my left knee. Nexus and buddy letters stating I’ve walked with a limp for many years and how the pain has affected my every day life

I was just diagnosed with Asthma from private Pulmonologist. The FEV1 test was at 54%. Can I file a claim even though I have been out of service for 30 years? I spent 2 tours in the Navy in Desert Storm/Persian Gulf. 1990-1993. We spent months in the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Aden, Red Sea, etc... Is this still presumptive or did you have to file before 2021? I'm confused.

Iam connect for asthma at 30%. I made a 45% on my FEV-1 from my 1st Bronchial challenge that diagnosed me with asthma,which qualifies me for 60%. Thinking about going for a higher level review to get an increase. But kind of scared to because on the test results from my 1st bronchial challenge it mentioned I had covid 4 months before. They might try and link my asthma to that instead of burn pit. Even though I was having trouble breathing before then.
