I have had MS for 29 years. It is not a nice thing to have. Stress can be horrible if you have MS. The main thing with is don't let it get you. Also don't fight it. Accept that you have MS and learn to live with it. Most people do not understand MS.. Just please, please do not let it beat you and you can still have a happy life. My heartfelt felt best wishes to all MS'ers.

I WISH "real world" Neurologists were as kind and understanding toward patients as the Doctors and Researchers used in MS (and related illness) vids and presentations seem to be.

Thank you for the clarification of a relapse. I didn't realise that a relapse is usually a new symptom. I worried sometimes I was heading into a relapse with an old symptom but now I realise it was probably an old symptom made worse by heat or fatigue. It would usually be helped by cooling down or taking it easier. Thanks again.

Thank you for sharing this. I was diagnosed with optic neurosis in August and was told I need to see a neurologist to rule out MS. I have a feeling I probably do have it since I have tingling in my hands and feet along with sudden vision change in my other eye. I am getting my insurance to my county, but it is a relief to understand the possibility of MS symptoms. Keep up the great work 🙏🏻

I seen my neurologist yesterday as I normally see them for many forms of epilepsy. She said my eyes are non responsive and she made an eye appointment as well as a brain MRI for me. I have had many symptoms that seem to be normal symptoms but have associated them with aging. One thing that I constantly remember hearing from test results is having inflammation “somewhere”. I have learned to dismiss any symptoms I have because it’s something that is blown off by the medical teams.

When I was having extra pain and weakness in each side of my knees I went to my MS doctor because I was having falls when I go down I can't get back up therefore he put braces on both knees I can tighten them to suit my problem bingo I walk almost not quite perfect yet but the extra braces did take care of the problem. Bless my MS doctor I have had for years he knows me better than I know myself. He. Solved my problem. But I do wear braces on both legs that are great my.legs are closer together when I walk still walk slow but I'm walking better. No wheel chair yet. I try to do everything he tells me sometimes I don't know what's happening I call for appt. I hate MS not fun to live with. Miss my heels my skirts my dresses I try to hide my braces from others they stare at me too much. When I stop my physical therapy I feel stiff and walking slower and slower. But I still do a lot for 2 people to keep our home going right and well being. Always find a good MS doctor I had 2 they are wonderful. They are in the same clinic. Keep looking don't give up find a good one.

I am beginning to wonder if I have MS. The end of June of last year, I was diagnosed with small fiber neuropathy and had lots of tests done and at this point it's idiopathic. The doctor had me do an MRI of the brain because I was having horrible brain fog, dizziness, and headaches constantly. I have a hard time walking, my left leg doesn't want to work the way it should and my balance is horrible. It's so frustrating when you pay good money to see a doctor who should take time to listen and they don't. About 2 weeks ago, I had a 48 hour EEG done. Next week I have an appointment to go over the results.

Every relapse is permanent damage done though. Your only getting older, the damage is harder and harder to recover from. It's already hard to get insurance putting you on the highest efficacy treatment available off the bat so why would you delay the possibility of upgrading the treatment when a relapse occurs?

I had an aunt who was bed ridden never went near her my mother would not let me I often wondered what she had wasn't told. I assumed as I grew older she could walk. Also wondered if my MS was passed down to me because she could not I meant she could walk. This was an Aunt on my father's side. Thanks for the video never sure how to handle the word relapse and something new happening that would not go away would make my ME worse.

I’ve been having ms symptoms over the last few weeks. Some days I can walk like normal and the next day I can barely walk, numbness in my legs, tingling in my feet and my calves feel like I ran 3 marathons without a break! I need to get a diagnosis. Today I felt fine until I took a shower and I got stabbing pain in my calf and my muscles hurt so badly I could barely walk.. im dreading the diagnosis..

I have a question. Is there any way to replenish and heal, the myelin-producing cells in the body, naturally? I've studied scleroderma and lupus for many years because of a genetic connection and am now a sufferer myself. I'm just now learning more about MS. Is it a mucus type membrane that's missing? How is that replenished naturally? If that makes any sense. I'm currently having a flare and am trying to get through it.

I been waking up with numb hands and fingers almost every day for the past month and a half. I was asked how long do your hands stay numb for , I said 3 minutes or so. And I was told the numb feeling had to last 24 hours . So is that 24 hours of numb feeling non stop?
