I'd say, it started out Great, but slowly, it started to get boring, like they made all this effort at the start, then just gave up for a while, then they update it and it seems cool again, then goes right back to boring.

The season is okay but I really wish they would stick more to a season's theme and not just be all over the place with collabs like Star Wars/Avatar impacting the gameplay..

I think avatar was what absolutely killed this season for me, It just ruined the vibe

As a fan of Greek mythology, especially in games, this was the best season in a long time. I am a bit disappointed we didn't get a greek themed collab for the battle pass or the item shop. Young Kratos from God of War would have been Amazing. If Fortnite partnered with Nintendo before this season, Pit and Palutena from Kid Icarus would have been perfect for this season. But, despite that, I love it! 😁

With an apocalyptic season we need a fallout which they could either make skins from the game/show or use the default skins and give them vault jumpsuits that you can customise the number on.

They need to bring back the storyline, to be honest. That's what made the game not feel like roblox. Also, theirs WAY too much to do. It's feels like I have to do everything. It's like Epic made those extra game modes to expand playtime. Also, Epic Video 🎉

Did not play a single match this season. Used to play every day since chapter 2 season 2, past few seasons have been so weak

I wish they bring back live events

I only play 0 build. I enjoyed the season, but the reaper needed to go to make way for the DMR. Water bending needed to leave with the rest of the Avatar items when they left. It absolutely changed the game and not for the better. It was extremely oppressive. Loved the chains, wings, and bolts but vaulting them in their premiere season felt tone-deaf. I loved the theme of the Greek mythology figures and it was a fun fit for the game. I do wish the bosses we’re further apart from each other.

All i gotta say is the mythicscwere taken out for almost ACTUALLY A WHOLE MONTH no collabs to do with the greeks mythology but the map changed alot so thats good gameplay fine BUT ALL THE PROBLEMS CAME WITHIN THE LOCKER NOT EVEN THE SEASON

I landed at each of the new POIS A LOT of times and I enjoyed the pois enjoyed the storyline season 2 could be better if anyone could make a concept for a better map for season 2 and fanmade event music

I wish they stuck with the Greek mythology theme and did the Star Wars and avatar stuff later since they don’t really have much to do with the original theme.

Tbh one of the things i didnt like is that with the bosses of the past season removed it seems like they didnt really care and just lefr those places to rot and now there isnt any real loot or incentive on those places, idk they just feel TOO empty

Tbh I would watch your concept videos if you talked more in them. I like hearing a creator gush about their works, so just seeing a slideshow of content always makes me feel disattached and sucks away the hype

This season was 🔥, it had great gameplay and skins, and I also like that they brought back storyline quests. It’s not as good as the chapter 1-4 storyline, but it is still good.

Some of the best skins and the best events such as Star Wars and Midas' revenge as well as astonishing map changes with 5 new POIs and 2 biomes. But, with the locker changes, not very good but the story is starting to ramp up slightly more than Chapter 4.

idk why but I didn’t really like these past few chapters, (I’m talking about 5 and 4) I feel like chapter 3 season 3 was the last good season, (except for Last Resort and OG) but I’m excited for chapter 2’s return!

I think the game itself is goated rn, but I really wish the storyline would start to become a priority again. There was so much potential for the story this season and it started great, but now I can’t figure out what’s going on. Battle pass is great tho

Personally, this season has been one of the BEST seasons we’ve had in YEARS. It was brought down by the Avatar event, but I’d still say it is a solid 8/10 or even a 8.5/10

I do hope Fortnite does more mythology seasons. There’s so much they can do. I was super excited for the avatar collab but it felt like it was extremely bare minimum compared to the tmnt collab last chapter.

this season had a really good map and a solid lootpool, but adding random collabs and removing the new and interesting items to not clutter the lootpool during said collabs just ruined the momentum. it also felt like once they started they didn't add really any new items themed around the season like usual. also, the map changes feel like something that should only stay a season, which is why its confusing that all of them stayed for season 3.

As a huge Avatar fan, and an even bigger Fortnite fan I thought that this season was incredibly fun. Especially compared to season 1. The chains of hades wings and lightning getting vaulted for a few weeks never bothered me because the avatar mythics were just WAY more fun imo. And I’m biased obviously but I do genuinely think that they are some of the best mythics the game has seen. Because most of the time when multiple mythics are in the game they are either trash or way too overpowered, but every avatar mythic had its use, even earth and fire bending which were obviously overlooked more.

Didn't feel like a starwars collab without lightsabers. I forgot it was even happening in most games

“This much downtime has never happened before” Season X -> Chapter 2 Season 1 never happened

i'm just genuinely upset that this season wasn't at all what it could have been. it was an incredible concept- greek mythology, with titans, gods, and other creatures like nymphs, centaurs, sirens, harpies, chimeras...so much, with lots of stories to be able to integrate. yet, they used practically none of it. they made some gods look way too casual (aphrodite), and i feel they would be more memorable if they all had a more mythological feel instead of looking like someone or something you'd see at some fantasy high school. the story should have been truly prioritized to show the beauty of storytelling. there should have been more skins achievable by quests. not to mention it was very lazy, and it showed- from day one, a lot of content was still unavailable, and some of that content now doesn't even have edit styles (like artemis' contrail to match her other styles). the bonus styles were lazy, rehashed textures in different colors, instead of being original and cool concepts like stone variants (to match stoneheart and greek sculptures today), ghostly underworld variants, and perhaps even enraged variants to show what would happen in the future (like some sort of fiery aura or lightning crackling around zeus), or even a traditional style to show them in less casual, more mythologically set clothing. fortnite completely failed to encapsulate the essence of what makes greek mythology incredible and still relevant. their corporate model is truly showing now- if this had been a few chapters back, im sure there would have been tons of heart poured into it, making this one of the most incredible seasons yet.

Fr i started playing season 2 great but then i got bored form the lack of updates by the time the chains if Hades came out i wasn't playing and the avatar update and star war's update didn't interest me hopefully this season do's better!

Honestly, I think people just realised that the game is actually not fun anymore. I only played for 1-2 weeks and only got to level 53, my lowest since Season X. I ended up deleting it idk if I’ll ever come back to it at this point.

The season started really strong but the storyline failed to keep my attention in the later stretch I thought the season already ended i got to like level 126 might try and get a few more before it ends but who knows but i really feel like the season didn't start getting massive updates until partway through and by than mosy of us already got bored of it

Best season of Chapter 5 so far easily. Idk about not many people landing at the new biomes cuz Grim Gate was super populated. Loved the new guns and the dash ability made fights insanely enjoyable. Idk why people freaked out over the mythology items leaving for a bit cuz I remember no one liked them at the start, and no one likes them still soooo Great season overall.

Events are slowly coming back, the event teams had to focus on the 3 new modes for awhile, lego, racing, music. So they couldn't really make event all that good. Due to them now being back though you can already see improvements to events. The one with the hand was pretty small, just a hand popped out of the ground. People could interact with it, and it passed over well with people. With the new Zeus event, they put even more effort into it with multiple different stages, people being pushed into the air to see the event, ext ext ext. So, in conclusion, the event team is back, and there already hard at work.

Turned out to be really boring to the point where it turned into my LEAST played season since Chapter 2 Season 6. It felt very fresh at the start but then slowly started to feel really bland. Im not sure if this has something to do with the new map and weapons because I honeslty have been having 0 fun since the Chapter started.

the map was good.. the weapons greatness. but the skins ...terrible. none of which looked liked any Greek gods.. I know it's fortnites way of doing there own way.. but they were bad bad in my opinion. but im happy for those who liked the battle pass skins

I was excited for season 2 watching the trailer, all the mythics, new biomes then i first played. The game was fun, new everything. 10 games in, no one lands there. Nothing to do...

They need to stop trying to get players to say "that is so cool". This only lasts for a week or so. Instead they need to start trying to get players to say "this is so fun". Cause that is what makes a good season. This was not a long season but it dragged on. It was all flash no substance.

For Battle Royale? I'd say this season is much worse then Season 1 of this chapter. Mostly ever since they added the water bending to the game. It has been the worst thing for this season. A weapon with no drop off, no damage drop off, to much damage, and a very fast fire rate. It's so bad being sniped with it from across the map. It made my time trying to do the star wars quests just hell. I wish they would have shelved it for the time being for the star wars stuff because it did negatively effect my play time. The Pois are good, the skins are decent, the shop skins were better (imo), and the new things added to the other game modes were neat. Even if the racing mode still feels like it's missing something to make it great. I'd overall rank it a 6.5 just because I felt like Korra was a bad pick for the secret skin of this season when we could have continued the Greek theme with any other skin like idk, OG Kratos. Also her mythic making the season much worse and less fun then it could have been. The season started out strong with less snipers everywhere which was amazing. To many times in the last season did the final fight come down to a snipe off. I just can't rate the season higher though due to how much water bending made this season unfun. When one gun impacts the game to much, it should been reworked or looked at like the pistol shield from last season.

My whole problem with the season was the mid season. I just didn’t care about avatar and them vaulting the Greek mythics for month in favor of the avatar ones definitely lowered my interest in the season. I didn’t even play until the Greek mythics were unvaulted again. It had a strong start we got some cool skins like ascendant Midas and area in the crew pass but mid season sucked and late season was okay. Also big disappointment we didn’t get Greek kratos skin

Chapter 5 Season 2 is a concept with missed potential because there are so many good stuff and way too much bad stuff. I feel like they could have done more with the map to make it stand out and give us more bosses like Chapter 2 Season 2. And the season barely got time to feel like a Greek mythology season because the Avatar & Star Wars crossovers overshadowed it. Also, I feel like we could have gotten a live event instead of a mini event because all the other big seasons got a live event, and we haven't gotten a live event since Fortnite OG 😔 (Also no Kratos)

I started at Ch.3 season3,and Ch.5 season 2 has become my worst season.Thankgoodness for Tycoon maps and Crazy Red VS Blue to pass the time until season 3 hit.I stopped clicking on ZB before waterbending got out of hand,so I can't feel their pain dealing with it.

Season started strong, besides the downtime. The locations were cool, and the lootpool was fun, despite the frenzy and thunder burst still bring here. Collabs were bad this season, imma say it straight up. It shafted the actual season for a boring colab. The news of no live events anymore was terrible, and the changes to cosmetic rarity were unnecessary and horrible. The season overall was a mixed bag but i will say, 6.5/10.

Chapter 5 season 3 needs to go back to fortnites gun based roots

The good things for me: POIs. Battle pass. Avatar event. New weapons. Olympian powers. General loot pool. The new medallions. The bad things for me: Airbending that everyone used to escape. The underworld water that everyone used to escape. Lack of new weapon atachments. Lack of the augments (seriously what happened to them?). Im giving this season an 8/10.

If I'm being honest I was so hyped for this season and then, I wasn't, I just started playing other games like minecraft and terraria and I just lost the feel to play fortnite

I really play a bit but if I have too rated it it maybe a good 8/10, avatar event was peak, flour is lava didn't play cause I private of console 💀 but if is like the one from chapter 1 he had to be cool, star wars event is cool, I like how is interacte with lego, racing and festival. So yea 8/10, maybe the grade will be higher 'cause of nostalgia, we will see

You hit right on the head. The story is not in the fore front . That is part of the reason I started playing back in chapter 1 with my son.. it was unique and gave you something to watch. But not now. It makes no sense of direction. I give this season and 6-10

There was nothing wrong with it! The only thing that held the season back from 10/10 Perfection was the damned waterbending and Korra Resulting it in a solid 9/10 That and I love Mythology!

At first, I thought the skull dashes were a great idea but it just ruins the game, I feel like the mobility is too much this season. Hitscan needs to return, this map isn’t great, the lootpool feels clunky

This season added the worst designed environment ever. They have all the effort on the poi’s and movement through those zones is dry. The new areas make moving more brain dead. Moving around that mountain and across the waters was interesting due to snipers but now it’s just pointy black rocks and green shallow beaches that gets you out of the area faster. Olympus is just a downhill slope with nothing in sight making you move through the area faster. The problem with the areas are like you said that they’re massive, but have nothing in them. They are easy to traverse which means you get the mythics and move to the circle fast. I started in C2 and a thing that I found in season OG is how each part of the world feels interesting. Houses are everywhere, stone formations give you something to look at while you look for players it’s just way livelier. Now I just get bored. Map changes are more exciting if they change how you move. The jungle did a great job at that and so did Mega city and the C2S3 flood. When an area doesn’t have anything interesting you move through it in a straight line to get where you’re going.

It’s just the avatar collab came by to fast it didn’t give the season enough type to shine and everything was outta of place ever since they added these new game modes

Content wise was great,Storyline was what was kinda disappointing,the greek mythology theme has SOW MUCH potential for a amazing storyline,and it's just quest with boring ass objctives,and we barely got any gods,ouside te battlepass we only got ares and apollo,could just be me,I'll give this season a 7/10

I just hate how to avatar event overshadowed the greek theme, and had broke the water bending with that stupid buff, and the air bending being perfect for annoying players that like to play like mosquitos. And I'm sad that there's no persona 3 collab or god of war references. Would've been the perfect season for them.

I really feel like it should’ve been cooler like it felt boring like they had so many Greek gods they could’ve added so many different mythic Hermes to super speed a form of assist with a Aries medallion there were so many Greek gods they could’ve used and they didn’t use any of them it felt like there were barely any changes and the avatar myth were really the only good part

Not bad like i enjoy the season i think so far my most hated season is oj because it feel like a down grade but this was a good season But for the map people mostly landed gate keep like had a game where 27 people was fighting over killing the boss

Chapter 1 was way better, after the update half the map was a dead zone and the new medallions were cool, but not really as good as chapter 1. And the story was just kinda shoe horned in. Chapter 1 actually had a story, Chapter 2 was like "Oh look greek gods oooOoOo"

Good things for me Battle pass (fire skins 🔥 especially zeus and Artemis) Poi and biomes (underworld and grim gate are one of my fav poi's mount o was ok and brawlers was dead) Avatar (loved the mythics and skins) Star wars event(fire skins) Olympian mythics (while they were annoying but fun) Bad things Story (what was the story?) No live event (like u get zeus but no event wow.) 2 new attachments (speed grip and thermel scope are useless) 8/10
