I'm surprised people found this confusing. It was pretty clear to me that the "logistics" folder pertained to Logan's restructuring of ATN. Tom told Greg to stick close to Syd in the same scene; Syd was going to get ousted as part of the restructuring. And the "old man who fucking hated [Greg]" is obviously Logan; earlier in the episode Tom tells Greg Logan is upset with him. I assume the folder contains the kill list that's going to come up later in the season. Maybe Greg was on that list, but I kind of doubt it. If he was, I think Tom would have asked someone else to delete it.

Honestly I think this was just Tom freaking out, rightfully so given what just happened, and the logistics just had to do with ATN restructuring and Cyd firing. He wants to change his game plan since now he doesnt have the big dog behind him, so he can't be aggressive anymore. I don't think this is a huge deal.

I immediately thought Tom was stupid for asking Greg to do this. Did he learn nothing from the cruises situation? Greg is going to make a copy. Such a dumb moment made in pure grief.

Tom and Greg have will Farrel all over their scenes, i don't think i would enjoy one without the other.

I think it could somehow be dirt on Logan (LOGistics - LOGan), he doesn't need it now Logan is gone. Just a theory

First, Greg will make copies of whatever was on Tom's computer. Second, did Owen really give away his fortune to Greenpeace? Why would Tom keep his marital woes with Shiv on the company computer? Perhaps, Tom kept his own visions for the future of Waystar/Roy on the company computer and now that Logan is dead, they might useful to the company (if he decides that there is room for him at the inn) or another conglomerate. The risk of having someone else access to them might be detrimental (as in Greg, again). I don't think that Tom kept a list of those facing the corporate firing squad as I think Logan only gave names as they came up in his head. Logistics might also be a personal journal of day-to-day operations at Waystar. Logan had Tom lock Kendall from computer access.Who is going to determine the computer access or even access to the corporate headquarters?

Logan respected Greg for fighting back, and also for the incident with the girl. I think Logan liked Greg and was not going to sack him. Greg also holds information about Waystar in the Cruise documents and the Logistics file now as well. He has lots of ammunition to use, he just has to decide when to use it….. I do not think Logan thought his children were serious people and so could not run his business…. Therefore I think that he will favour Greg in his will and give Greg some sort of power. I also am not convinced that the Waystar voting rights will go to Greenpeace and so I think Greg will hold all the power at the end. I think that the rest will end up either dead or in prison because of the illegal activity. Possibly Logan also stole money like Maxwell did in real life meaning that Waystar will be worthless and Gregwill be left with a hollow crown at the end….. just a thought!!!!!!

Tom can’t fully trust Greg since the file thing. Idk why he would trust Greg to do something like that. He may… be testing Greg?

I assumed the file was about Syd, Tom wanted Greg to keep an eye on her and she was on Logan’s chopping block but unaware. It makes sense that Tom didn’t want her finding out that he and Logan were planning to fire her

I disagree with the one notion... Logan would have never fired Greg. I would go so far as to say Greg had the most security than anyone. The only question would be as to what level he would be, but Logan would never in a million years let Greg go.... Greg has always had Logan protection. It's still his brothers grandson and Greg choose him over Ewan. And the other stuff I'm not 100% sure on and seems to be less the case given the current circumstances, but I always felt as though Greg was always running intel for Logan. Even when he approached Kendall on the plane about how he thought he was getting the shaft, which is what pushed Kendall to change his mind in the press conference... I believe that was all Logan and he put Greg up to it, because it was his plan for Kendell to do what he ultimately did. .

Greg's far from the smartest tool in the shed, but he will most certainly make copies. Tom is delusional for even asking his #1 Greggy to do this, but I guess he thought he was out of options.

I love Greg's character. But he is a very obvious weasel. He is not subtle with his flip flopping sides for survival. I do think Logan hated him, but he hated most people. But I do like thinking Tom and Greg will have a complex win. I actually like Tom. He seems to have the most loyalty in comparison to the rest. He doesn't mind taking a hit for the ones he cares for which is Greg and Shiv. Shiv did break him but previously he was willing.

The folder had information to kill Tom and Logan and Tom kept it as a suicide switch. To tank the company in case they ever want to kill him off. But now Logan is gone, he has no protection. But also is the only one who is probably going to get killed by the contents of the folder. And that is why he wants it gone.

Greg is smart and cunning but also dumb at the same time…He disobeyed his grandfather’s wish and lost his inheritance of 250 million dollars to Greenpeace. He stays with Logan but the guy clearly not ever going to take Greg seriously…or even as a family member. Logan definitely won’t add Greg to his will. So I am not sure what’s the benefit of sticking around…

Greg will betray Tom if that means promotion. He did sue Greenpeace after all.
