Juan Camilo Aguilar is awesome! I came here to live in Medellín 2 months ago from Las Vegas, and I don't know how I could have done it without Juan Camilo! He stayed in touch with me for the 2 or 3 months prior to leaving the U.S., picked me up from the airport when I arrived, brought me to my hotel (the nice, inexpensive one in Laureles he recommended), we went to the mall together and got my cell phone plan set up, we went together to use a safe and secure ATM, we went together and exchanged my U.S. dollars for pesos Colombianos, he showed me how to use the Metro (public transportation), he helped me find a great Airbnb, he even helped me make a doctor's appointment and went with me on the day of the appointment! Juan Camilo Aguilar, totally recommended for anyone coming here to visit or stay.

You will be missed! Your videos helped me when I went to Colombia...twice! Even fell in love with a girl there, and we will hopefully start our own adventure. Your guide and helped was invaluable. Many thanks, and good luck for the future!

Great channel, even though I'm a gringo but feel more Colombian these days than American due to my Colombian wife of 11 years. It would be nice if I didn't have to fly back to the states but we all have to make a living .I still wake to up to cumbia and salsa every morning even in the states and visit my favorite Colombian restaurant in South Florida. Even though I've spent years en la tiera querida I found your sanity and intelligence enlightening and useful and found myself nodding and agreeing with your perception of Colombia. Hey! never commented, but watched most of you r videos.Specially the past 6 months or so . i was in colombia 3 times. You actually made me feel like i can go there and leave. Then when you said you're (probably) going to Italy, close to home and all that, well just wanted to say that b watching your videos and decisions, and you 2 together, made me realise 2 things: 1- I don't think of colombia as long term. maybe at all. 2- I need to find a good partner, probably best from my country, like you guys are together, than the 2 colombian that i've had relationships and it didn't go well at all. now i'm not blaming you of course or anything like that :) just sharing my conclusion, my thoughts about my life, maybe it's better when you have a partner from your country, that really understand your culture, language, visa wise it's way easier of course. Well you can never know what the future holds, but it's what we make of it. Endings are always sad, but then again, you've got each other and that's the best. no matter where you'll be, i'm sure you do just fine. sorry for the long post (again... my first and probably last here lol)

You gave a perspective that was useful thank you. With grit and digital nomadism I would say you can make good money here. You didn’t feel that was possible when I reached out, but with luck and grit you can do it, via corporate route or Western startups and at global level of income. That said maybe your comments acted subconsciously as a grist to the mill. You were certainly the best people out there for giving your honest opinions.
