Met an air craft engineer.. Make well over six figures.. I know this because he said it often.. His down side was his character and ego.. Went on a date and he complained about the movie and restaurant he picked. He was even mean to the other customers.. I never went out with him again. I told him he was controlling. Thanks Tony. I’m 50 years old & just divorced the only man I’d ever been with since I was 14. I don’t want to be superficial, but 30 years of emotional & financial abuse has made me leary of a man that still doesn’t have some sort of stability in his 50’s. I don’t want a man with bad character either & thought it may be too late for me. I get it now. For 31 years I have all I had to a man to support him while he even got his masters degree. He still didn’t pursue a career & repeatedly cheated on me. I was totally broken. I now understand I was the right woman for the wrong man. I was too young & didn’t understand or see the red flags when I got married @ 19. Maybe there’s still hope for me now that I’ve learned the hard way what bad character looks like. Thanks. The people who are receptive to your message and have the heart to learn and grow get it the first time. Those who attack, argue, or disagree with you are not yet in a space to understand the truth and stand in their own way. When you post a video, it is out there to be viewed over and over again. Sometimes they need to go back and look again to really hear the message and learn how to apply it to their life. Keep moving forward, keep speaking your message with upward motivation. Your time and energy should be with those who are willing to be real in their own lives. He cheated on me and abused me in multiple ways. I knew I had to leave that situation and that's what I did. From the beginning there were several red flags and convictions of the holy spirit, but I ignored all of it because of my naivety. I was never peaceful in that relationship. Ladies please listen to Tony and if something doesn't feel right in your relationship,most of the time it's not. I refused to stay around and continue to get mistreated because of a man's money. Discernment to assess the situation properly plays a critical role in evaluating a man's character. That man you passing up on could've been divorced & let his ex-wife have the house for the sake of his children. I know a ton if men who've dealt with that. And then I know men who make BETWEEN $13-$15/hr currently who is 55 & outworks any man that I know young & old. His current house he bought from the land bank & cashed out on it & fixing up each room as he's able. He used to be in adult entertainment making six figures to the point he built his mama a house & decided to give that lifestyle up not because of age or looks, but that's something he decided to do. Not to say that he's the perfect man, but for a man to go from that life to where he's at now shows me a lot about him. A lot of men have criminal backgrounds & cause them to be temporarily limited in their current career choices. That McDonald's example, that auto mechanic shop example, & your first book example...
