In celebration of their tenth episode, Caiah and Mpho give the Gesties an episode longer than usual - probably their most intimate yet.
The podcast episode is thoughtfully divided into four distinct sections. Firstly, the hosts provide a personal life update, getting into the anger they feel in their waiting season and recapping Caiah’s experience at The Spreading Humours Podcast.
Moving into the second segment, Caiah and Mpho answer some generic “Get To Know Us” questions to commemorate 10 episodes of Thought Digest !💃🏾
Allowing the audience to get to know them a little better - the nitty gritty information about them.
The third segment takes a playful turn with a popular TikTok game , “ 20 words or less “ - where Mpho has a list of choice words that Caiah has to guess , with as few hints as possible.
The focal point of today's discussion centers on the concept of “Fear” : what’s fear to you/how would you define it ? what are/were you most afraid of ? How did it impact your life and relationships? how did you or are you dealing with it?
On channel memberships the girls will be having a conversation on the things they would tell both their younger and older selves - offering moments of reflection and hope.

I think the most beautiful thing to watch for me on this podcast is to see God working through these beautiful children of God that will always include him in their conversations ❤❤❤. i relate to mami's fear of death story, ive dreamt about 3 people passing away and 1 of them was also my grandfather. The day before he passed away i had a dream and in the morning i told my mom, the following day it happened exactly how i dreamt it; every single detail. i went to school and cried so hard not because i just lost my grandfather but because of the fear my "ability" gave me. it happened twice again with 2 other family members.

Am so glad u guys touched on fear, my biggest fear is not being able to provide for my daughter with food mostly. I don't think I can trust anyone but m to provide for her...but I guess god is testing m today Koz I HV to use all that I HV to try smthng big Nd new for us. Nd relying on him to provide for her in my absence. Although I know I HV to do it. Am still fearful. I always preach to get that fear has a lot to do WD evil spirits she shouldn't indulge in it. Sometimes death can mean letting go of your old habits or going through change . Because sometimes we pray for certain things and God wants to position you in a way that he sees fits you. It could have been by instilling that fear in you of death or losing your grandfather but most importantly I feel it was his way of preparing you for answered prayers. I've learnt so much from this episode maybe because I relate so much on the topic. At this point we need a tour🤣🤣 S/O guys

I love your podcast so much and how God is using you ladies , it is absolutely incredible and beautiful. @Caiah ,Paul said in Galatians 2v20 “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” With that being said ;what we don’t submit to Christ, we have to manage and that’s quite a heavy load to carry when God called you to give you a light burden and an easy yoke (ref Matthew 11:28-30) Loving someone is giving them the privilege/power to hurt you , which is totally out of our control and all you could hope for is that they don’t abuse that power. Partner with the Holy Spirit to discern who to let your guard down for ,not everyone deserves to share in on the intimate parts of you. He will never lead you astray. You’re safe with Him.

To answer the first part of your question , yes. That’s part of the reason why I don’t usually accept help. Second part of your question, isn’t really a question - more so sarcasm. But to make things clear, nobody showed gratitude. I would never respond negatively to genuine gratitude. I did , however , respond negatively to the lack thereof.
