Zoe nightshade is my favorite because she was honestly one of the only not sexist hunters. When she was dying she told Percy that being a boy didn’t make him a bad person. She realized that your gender doesn’t make you any worse or better. I feel like a lot of the hunters, even Artemis, treat boys with disrespect just bc they’re boys but Zoe nightshade had a perspective that put her above all the rest of them. She was also very badass.

i know this might sound dumb, but luke is one of my favorite characters. his mom went crazy and he was forced to leave home at 9 years old. he met his father, hermes, only once. he was possessed by kronos, and stole zeus’ master bolt to start a war among the greeks. he eventually came to his senses and sacrificed himself to stop kronos. luke was a hero

@JustHackIt1 though I understand why someone can ship Reyna and Apollo, I personally love her because she didn’t end up with him, or anyone for that matter. Though I love the PJO series, I also felt like many of the ships felt forced. As someone who grew up with little to no interest in personal romance, watching a character learn that you are not defined by having a romantic partner was incredible. Not only is she one of the few ace fictional characters that I know of, her journey of self discovery was beautiful. She’s also just badass, and has a very interesting, and in my opinion complicated, relationship with her sister. Not to mention the Latina representation. She really was just the character I most connected/ looked up to.
