Personally I’m not completely sure how V was really feeling in general when this came out. You see during that time one of V’s close friends passed away. So maybe that explains why he looked so sad in the beginning. His friends name is Lee Ui Soo he was a model and died due to suicide. I didn’t mean for this to be sad I just thought I’d give a possible reason as too why V looked upset. Love the reaction!!💜💜

Truth is... Taehyung wasn't depressed because he lost and is required to wear the costume. The truth is around that time, his friend committed suicide, and this guy had been his friend far back when he was still at school, so when they shoot this video the news of his friend's suicide was already spreading and the members knew, that's why they're giving out so much energy, they're trying their best to make him smile, truth is this is when I saw potential in V, despite of being sad he did his job, he played it cool, and if you didn't know the truth you wouldn't think he's suffering at the moment. This is why I love this boys. They carry everything so heavy, but they stand without giving up.

I know around this time that sweet Tae's friend passed away and believe that's why he was looking so down. But Tae is strong and very resilient and he pushed through for this Halloween episode.

As some people mentioned, this song has a lot of social commentary hidden in the lyrics and dance. It's supposed to be ironic, and I would say possibly satirical. You can probably find better explanations on Genius's English lyrics of the song, but I'm going to do my best to summarize some parts because it's very interesting! The Korean name of the song translates to "Rather Than Worry, Go," which was shortened to Go Go in English. The lyrics say things like (I'm writing this from memory so please don't blame me if it's slightly out of order, but the translation should be fairly accurate ;-; please correct me if I'm wrong): "I want it cruisin' on the bay, I want it cruisin' like Nemo. I don't have the money but I want to travel far away" "Where the money yah, where the party yah" They also repeat things like YOLO and "tangjinjaem." Both are repeated to show how people, especially youth, overuse the terms as an excuse for their actions. When they want to recklessly spend money, they sometimes say "YOLO," but they use it so much the actual meaning "you only live once" is lost. Same goes for tangjinjaem, which is a Korean term for spending money when you want, without caring for price or how often you'll actually use what you buy. The quotes I used above help emphasize these comments, because the song repeatedly talks about being broke but spending money on expensive (and possibly useless) things. The dance uses trendy dance moves to exaggerate how to tangjinjaem (idk if I'm using the term properly, I'm sorry) follows trends that can oftentimes be ridiculous or become cliche/overused (like the dab). It's overall a really interesting and detailed song despite being silly. I still find it an adorable song and dance, though, and appreciate it without the message inside it. One of my favorite songs on this album

I think the big footies were more difficult to dance in so I think V actually lucked out...hilarious! They do a Halloween practice to war of hormones as people have mentioned. Puma was a sponsor for costume and public appearances but Big Hit finds different sponsors for each comeback. I have read that because JHope is such a fashionista Gucci has recently designed concert ware and for formal appearances. I can so see them on the Grammy stage in full Gucci flare.

GoGo is the epitome of BTS hiding powerful messages in absolute bops. You can enjoy the song on its own but when you realize it's a parody of people wasting their money on frivolous things to find happiness as well as a comment on a society where people feel they have no future so why save for it, it becomes a whole new thing.
