Actually Hugh Jackman came out saying he missed the role. And if he’s on board and that they’re supposed to be becoming Ming part of the MCU, who’s to say some time travel and dimensional intervention isn’t involved to create an alternate reality that still in some ways respects the events of “Logan”

Abrams deserves criticism for the Star Wars movies, but MI:3 was the start of what has been a good run of that series.

Not only was it a step up from the actual worst in the series in Mission Impossible 2 (which is a almost uniamous statement) it definitely gave us by far the best villian in the series in Phillp Seymore Hoffman.

The Toy Story sequels after 3 are starting to feel like the Star Wars Prequels. I was 9 when the first one came out here, I have incredibly fond memories of seeing that and Toy Story 2 with my cousins. The eldest would have been 20 going to see that (if I remember she drove us) but it was a great family bonding trip. Then 3 was the perfect ending. I didn’t hate 4 but I fear in about 10/15 years we’re going to get the Toys Awaken and it’ll be just another animated franchise. Having 2 nieces under 1 I cannot wait to take them to the pictures to see ‘The Next Toy Story’ but I fear that will be all too literal. At least I can pin all my hopes on Paddington 3.

I don't think the Rey Star Wars movie is doomed to failure, although I'm a bit worried if Mangold is involved, given how Dial of Destiny turned out. The sequel trilogy was obviously disappointing, but I put a lot of the blame for that on The Last Jedi, and Johnson specifically. The two worst things about The Rise of Skywalker -- Palpatine's return and the fact that he was Rey's grandfather -- wouldn't have happened if Johnson hadn't killed Snoke. The reaction to TFA from fans was generally positive, and there's no reason to think that The Rise of Skywalker would've been a problem if Johnson had done his job. To be sure, there were bad things in TROS that *weren't* Johnson's fault -- like the fakeout "deaths" of C3PO and Chewie, and that godawful redemption of Kylo Ren, but it would've been a much better movie with Snoke still alive and Palpatine still dead.

You feel that way about Deadpool 3 only because you actually liked Logan... me, I am happy to se Jackman again :)

My biggest concern about James Gunn writing the Superman Legacy film is that it will seem like a comedy.

WB undermined the Snyderverse for years then blamed everyone else for its failure. They botched & delayed their movies for years & made obvious bs controversies for no reason. And how they “market” them is so stupid. Snyder should’ve been the head of DC & Gunn as a main director. DC doesn’t need to be the MCU 2.0

Deadpool 3 isn't something people are mad about. Everyone I know is pumped. On a personal note, Kraven looks amazing to me. Taylor-Johnson is fantastic and he isn't remotely as cringe-inducing as Leto.

I was actually ok with Hugh reprising Wolverine for the Deadpool movie; I thought that the adult format and the combination with the direction and presentation of Deadpool in previous productions would make it a great way of renewing the character in a different environment (recall that, within the Deadpool narrative, the X-men are still a thing so the plot of Logan didn't happen; multiverses right?). Plus both Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are passionate about their respective characters. With that being said, I am not impressed with the new trailer; it is very 'jumpy' and disconnected, which suggests to me that the trailer contains a conglomeration of the good bits of the movie and even then they can't compose some sort of sales narrative out of those bits.

DP3 will probably suck due to the writers, and the fact that the actors are no longer allowed to ad-lib. They are also going to be bringing in a whole lot of other characters, which is why CBMs are unwatchable, while Deadpool's complete lack of extraneous characters is what made it so good - they could focus on character development and such instead of setting up a scene for the next cameo that you would need to have done five hours of homework for in order to understand. I laughed when they tried to introduce a bunch of new characters in DP2 because they just killed them all off (well, except Domino, she's lucky I guess) so they wouldn't get in the way of the movie

It's annoying that Hollywood films are the most high profile medium of fiction but simultaneously the most creatively bankrupt. Books, videogames and even TV are held aloft by largely by original ideas, whereas blockbusters rely on half-baked adaptations and rehashed franchises from 30+ years ago regardless of whether the story is finished.

I'm interested in this Wicked, but I was looking forward to the OGs in a CGI that could be fun to mash with Frozen.

Honestly, I'd like to see Kraven and Deadpool 3! I've always been a Marvel fan my whole, specifically on Spider-man (but sometimes X Men and Black Panther). The rest I don't follow much. Superman: Legacy, as much as its alright for James Gunn to reboot DCU as a whole, it is sad for Henry Cavill to never return. Seriously, he's hands down the best as Superman, even my mom is a fan of him! The live Action Mufasa and Moana movies, screw them🤬! But Toy Story 5, WHY?!?! FUCKING WHY?!?!?! The third installment was *SUCH* a good way to conclude the franchise! I swear, Disney isn't *Disney* anymore
