Basically I’m just this crazy guy from Lethbridge, Alberta , that has this crazy expensive hobby. Being retired I had to come up with a way to pay for this insanity without touching my retirement cash.
So what’s the solution? Of course it’s making extra dollars hauling junk, removing scrap, and breaking crap apart separating the metals to get the most bucks possible and keeping these valuable resources out of the landfill.

Good advice. I bought an old forney welder. Payed up for it because it was older. Turnwd out to be mostly aluminum. Not sure if i lost any money, but if not, i sure didnt make any

What size is your bandsaw and how long did it take to cut the transformer? Recommendation on blade/speed to use for transformers?

It’s a 14” took around 6 minutes, but I do other things while it cuts

@@nicejunk666 just purchased a 4.5x7 inch one. Mostly for smaller control transformers (I’s and E’s). Hopefully easier and cleaner than angle grinder. Your video gave me hope that it will work out. Thanks.
