Күн бұрынWe CUT OPEN a Rainstick to see what it looks like inside! So interesting to learn how it is made. We bought this authentic rainstick in New Mexico while there for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.
Rainsticks have been used for many years, since the Aztec people used them to summon a rain storm.

I am a door and hardware installer. Fire doors can have different materials in them but typically have a very fine powder if they are a wood door.

My school has clear rain sticks made of plastic so you can see how it works. It may not be authentic, but it's really cool. It has a bunch of little layers and stuff.

All of these sound quite dangerous, but... What's inside a toaster? What's inside a microwave? What's inside a watch (analog or digital)? What's inside an (empty) spray paint can? What's inside a guitar? Also, have you thought about adding things like fish(random example!), or other "once living things" to your series? Might be neat(and messy!!)! Haha! Of course, I'd imagine the feedback might be undesirable, as it has the potential to "upset" some people. You guys are great! Great videos! Glad I stumbled upon your channel- very bright child, by the way! :)

While I was watching this video I was like don't cut it open on the air hockey table you idiot because it will destroy the air hockey table because on a air hockey table there are tiny little holes on the table and all the bits from the rain stick will fall in to the tiny holes and then brake the air hockey table so well done for possibly braking the air hockey table I hope the air hockey table still works fine looks like a good one but you've probably broken that table now for doing that on it

I am from albuqueruqe new mexico and I always go to the anaual bloom festival. it's really cold and you have to wake up really early... but it's just so beautiful!

Traditional rain sticks are made from dried out cactus limbs. They are thought to be originally made by the ancient Aztecs. Traditionally they used two species of cactus: Eulychnia acida and Echinopsis pachanoi.

I know that it is just a cactus and the holes are because of the "spikes" but are needles being pushed in and the "rocks" are seeds
