Wheel ON or OFF? (Ford Ranger Oil Change Follow Up)

In response to some comments left in my Ford Ranger oil change video, do you always need to remove the wheel to access the oil filter?

I've got a 2003 Ranger and haven't been able to access the filter at my house. I can reach it with the tire on,however, it's much easier to access with it off, and that's the way i will proceed. Thank you for the video man, i appreciate your point of view, ignore the keyboard warriors their opinion means 💩

I took it into Ford for a quick oil change it took them a hour to service the oil and what ever else they did.I saw them taking the wheel off thought suspension or some thing was bad.Had no idea what they had to take off truck had 19000 mile on it,

Personally I don't like the idea of having to work around the tire like that. It'll be coming off for me every time. I've always rotated my tires on every other oil change anyways. Only 1k miles on the 2023 at this point.

Automotive engineers should be required to work on cars for at least two years before they get a degree. Doctors must do an internship, so should engineers.
