Lol I mean, fuck that guy and his big ego, but that logic is very skewed. If someone drinks and drives with their wife, they therefore do not love their wife lol. Luckily for me the chief was a stand up man and told me he made a bad choice and would do whatever was needed. Had zero issues at all and even after his arrest ordeal he found me and thanked me for being professional and not attempting to handle things differently. I will remember that forever. Even people with integrity make bad choices it’s all about how you handle it. That encounter could have turned ugly. It is a very difficult position to be in but at the end of the day it is just another person. Can’t handle things in a different manner because of who it is. When you say shame on them for second guessing, what I saw and was very clear from their discussion, is that they were being extra careful and wanted to do everything by the book given who they are dealing with to avoid having it backfire, i.e. someone shoots a hole in their actions when the situation is scrutinized which they knew it will. They did joke about getting fired, but this only show that despite being aware of the risk, they still took him in. In the military (or at least the Marines) we were taught and reminded multiple times, if you see someone who is wrong, you call them out no matter how high their rank is and how low yours is. As long as you do it with a certain tact, you are basically immune to retaliation. The police should be taught this rather than turning a blind eye and creating corruption.
@JoeRogansForehead8 ай бұрын
But that’s also not true about the marines lol . Retaliation happens over and over again

They are literally taught this. They are also given integrity test from time to time that they do not know about to make sure they do the right thing. They are tested and taught more of integrity in comparison to the marine core actually
