★ RULES ★
-If a pokemon faints, it must be permanently placed inside PC Box
-Can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each route.
-Must nickname every pokemon caught (will be named after someone in Fruit Nation)
-Every wild pokemon encounter, static pokemon encounter, trainer pokemon, and items received in the wild are randomized.
-If we black out, we lose.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well
-If one persons Pokemon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokemon must follow/share the same fate
-No repeat of primary types across both parties
-No pair may share the same primary typing

I don't understand why "primary" vs "secondary" even matters, it has no effect on gameplay at all, why do we care if it's primary or secondary? Makes the rule seem a little arbitrary to me

Just so this is out there as sad as it is Dialga is primary steel, which by your rules means Skarmory and Larvitar in addition to your Staravia and Ghastly pair would need to be benched, as no repeating primary types would be breached. Idk if I didn't understand the rules; however, this may be a deal breaker for the duo, also I have not finished the episode as of yet.

Well, it's slowly becoming apparent that you two will easily beat the locke, and may very likely do it without any deaths. Looking forward to the great commentary from you both, but a bit disheartened that we probably won't get any classic butt-clenching battles like in past nuzlockes. I would not be opposed for some more rule changes if the difficultly continues to drop since its those extremely nerve wracking battles that really made your past runs exciting to watch. Also, I believe dialga and skarmory both have primary typing of steel 0_0

They have a primary steel already in Skarmory. But if Mr.Fruit makes an executive call and allows duplicate typing on both teams..but if they want to stay within the rules they can't use Dialga whilst they have a primary steel type already. Hey, Fruit. For your next soul lock you should make it so in a battle you and blue have to have use the Pokémon that are locked together at the same time. If one of you wants to change Pokémon in a battle the other has to change to the other one that’s locked with it. Would require you two to go at the same pace but would add some more difficulty.

I love these videos Mr. Fruit and Blue. Keep up the awesome content. Also a suggestion from other soul links you take turns getting the first encounter on each route. For example if Fruit encountered first on lake verity then the next encounter would be Blue. This helps in scenarios like the beginning so there's a set way to deal with unusable encounters.

Grinding or not, it is my head cannon that the last 3 episodes have been like 20 or 30 minutes over so Mr Fruit just went along with it and added the extra 30 minutes to the hour of power as the theme of the week.

Well, according to your rule, Silcoon is invalid. Kabuto is primary type Rock, so it isn't a type you already have.

Love the Nuzlocke Fruit and the rule change but Omnastar was primary Rock, not Water, and Dialga and Skarmory are both primary Steel. Might want to start looking it up so things don't get messed up.
