When you meet a person who smokes near a pregnant woman in public, how do you respond? In our tests, everyone will take the initiative to remind smokers and do their best to take care of pregnant women. Everyone has the freedom to smoke, but others also have the right to refuse second-hand smoke. Not smoking in public is the basic respect a smoker has for others!

I hate when people smoke in a crowded place like a bus stop or in a line waiting outside. If you want to get ruin health that’s fine but don’t give it to any of us. The reason I have weak lungs is because of my dad smoking my whole childhood. That lady was so true

When I was pregnant I had people smoking next to me at the bus stop all the time. No matter how many times I asked them to please go smoke in another area, they kept smoking there and nobidy never advocated for me. I'm glad things are better there because apparently people in my country don't know what good education is.

I smoke too, but if there's an old person, a pregnant woman or a kid I always step aside and go somewhere else to smoke. Even with everyone else when I smoke I try to keep a distance unless they're smokers too

When I was a smoker, I would always light up a cigarette after getting out of an airport; there was one time I saw a mother with her young child getting off a taxi in front of me while I was smoking, I moved aside immediately. The mother thanked me for it even though I didn’t expect her to do so. Mutual respect is very important.

I'm a female at the age of 23 yrs old right now. When I was 10, I was curious of how good cigarettes taste like because I saw my father was always smoking. I secretly light up one of his cigarettes and tried to smoke. I just inhaled it once, and then I keeled over in a coughing fit. There was tears in my eyes, my nose hurt and my throat feels burned. I probably had inhaled it in the wrong way or something, and I could be a professional smoker if I tried to learn it right. 😂 But after experiencing such pain, I never want to touch a cigarette anymore. Even just a slight whiff of smokes from a nearby smoker makes me feel like throwing up, I literally can't breathe at all. My father is still a smoker though, there's really no turning back for him. It's an addiction he said, because he started at a young age just right after he got into junior highschool. He picked the habit from his parents (and yes, my grandma smokes too). Though my late granddad did quit smoking in his 60's after his health declined.

@@iiv_dannybo1 My father is 50 yrs old now. And no, he did not stop smoking. I told you, there's really no turning back for him. 😅 I don't know how many buds of cigarettes he goes for a day, but he smokes daily. I tried to make him quit, there's many effective methods nowadays, like meds and other stuffs. But if the person himself doesn't have the will to stop, then even if the cure falls down straight from heaven, he just won't take it.

I have a more personal outlook on smokers. Both of my parents smoked before, during, & after conception (born in April of 1964). I am now 55 & in 3rd Stage COPD due to second-hand smoke. If people choose to smoke, so be it. But one should NEVER expect ANYONE ELSE to have to be exposed or to smell the noxious fumes. It isn't right, nor is it fair, especially to babies & small children who do NOT have a voice with which to defend their right to breathe CLEAN air... Sorry smokers.

In fact, a second hand and third hand smoker are facing greater risk than the smoker itself. I smoke myself, but I won't smoke in crowd or near other people who aren't smoking. Respect. After smoking, please wash hand, or change clothes or get a bath before touching young ones especially baby or asthmatic people. Its dangerous.

As a child I hated cigarettes and smoke. Older people smoking near me made me dizzy, whenever travelling someone is always there smoking in bus or shop. And they never get away or stopped no matter how much I say. Fortunately no one in my family smoked. A year from now when I enter college most of friends smoke and introduce me into it. I understand people who smoke but please be considered of people around you. The second hand smoke can ruin whole day for someone

my mom is a smoker and she used to smoke next to me and my siblings and she would smoke in the house so it would smell like smoke and we would breathe into it. my mother was older and so was my dad so that made their coughing even worse from smoking. they would smoke in public places too not even careful around whos there. my mom even smoked when i was in the womb.

i have a small neighborhood walmart near my house if its raning out (sw florida) all the smokers pull out their cigarettes when i was pregnant with both my daughters and even now they are 2 and 4 they dont care. even employees. right outside the door and smoke blows in its just so trashy! im at my wits end. after having to experience my mother smoking in the car with windows closed i couldent breath and my eyes would water. i want better for my girls.
