When that airman of from the comm squadron and the sf guys are good: ma'am we are conducting a random antiterrorism measurement and will need you to pull over here, turn off the vehicle, and open all doors and compartments. If they have an attitude, you also bring out the mirror. Might be just a quick 3 min search but that is plenty to get everything cold. Too bad the engine will do be warm enough to blow hot air in about 2 min and the can be fully warmed back up in 3.

Only saying stay warm would piss anyone off because, you clearly see it’s out of their control and forced to their job in that weather! However, if you are trying to help the situation by giving them something to help with the cold… IT F*CKING HELPS SO PLEASE DO IT! And, instead of saying “Stay warm!” (Which is inaccurate cause your not warm!) You could say “I hope they don’t have you working all day in the cold!” It opens dialogue, and shows you care! Where as “stay warm” you sound like your pathetically trying to seem like you care but, don’t! This is just my take on it though! My opinion 🤷🏽‍♂️ they might already be weathered from people saying “stay warm!” And might get mad at anything you do regardless of the level of how helpful it is!
