Being a Texan, we have always had black-eyed peas on New Year's Day for Good Luck. I made the traditional version on the stove, but also tried these for our family. Love them! I think the Everything Bagel seasoning really adds to the flavor. Roxanne, thank you so much for sharing your recipe. Wishing you a Happy and Healthy 2022!

Interesting way to make them, growing up we always had "Hoppin John" served over white rice with bacon, collard greens, chicken stock, seasonings & corn bread my dad always liked tomatoes in his, Might try your recipe for a snack during the football games !! Happy New Year Roxanne !!
