As an Arsenal fan that's all Theo knew unfortunately 😂worked for him enough to bag over 100 goals for us! But I think he could have went up levels if we was willing to adapt and mix up his game

Walcott played under Wenger too, though; and unlike Capello, Wenger’s success wasn’t 15 years prior with half of them rescinded for having bought the refs.

This is Walcotts' fault for not being able to take a simple instruction and act on it. Capello was a top manager who won various major honours. Theo Walcott didn't fulfil any of his early promise and ended up being a sub for Everton & Southampton.

The reason none of those players did anything about it despite being 'established international players' is because they were 'ESTABLISHED INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS' and listen to instruction and adapt to the very basic requirements of the manager...

I wonder if this is generational thing , as a 61yr I started work in 1979 back then as a young sprog you worked along side the foreman he would show you and tell you what to do if you didn't listen you got a dead arm or a whack round the head and this happened to all my mates if the same age and getting shouted at was normal , you soon learnt listen and learn , we certainly didn't run back to dad and complain , if course I wasn't a pro like Theo but the fact this is on here tells me something.
