Well, the officer did make it sound like he couldn't go back on the street in front of the property, the trespass is for the owner's property. He knows this and this is why he is so confident about it. She needs a restraining order asap because that'll make it arrestable if he even shows up in front of her house.

The way people think "resisting" means "violently attacking" is wild. If they are trying to put you in cuffs, and you make it physically more difficult for them to do so (tensing, pulling, running, etc), you are resisting.

They squally will say relax when it’s tensing out of fear they can tell the difference so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. It’s natural for people to tense ho that’s why cops famous words are relax just relax. And stop resisting resisting is for when the tensing is accompanied with actual resisting.

It was probably good for her to get it off her chest and show him that she isnt gonna be intimidated and she is surrounded by people who care. However by her going over there he got what he wanted. He wanted to see her and take her time/attention. He will do it again because he got what he wanted. Doesn't matter that he is in cuffs. If he truly needed to hear it from her then he would have stopped the first time she said something.

I worked as a target fittingroom attendant. This one night I was alone folding clothes when a man came in and asked me how much to be with me inside one of the rooms 5 minutes. @@marionthompson3365 I had asked you that because I am going through the same situation. And in my country police are like non-existent so that is not and option. You have to pay them first for them to even look your way.😂😂😂

@@netflixshorts_ Had many police interventions thanks to hostile ex husband. 14 years of crap before one day it finally stopped. Pleasingly he went to prison for a stretch (unrelated) though karma nonetheless. Another only stopped after I told him next time he came prowling around my house he'd be on camera. The police advised me to get CCTV. Stopped him, along with going out on a limb and calling his boss directly. That worked too. In my case, it was only the passage of time, and hope, that one day they lose interest and peace is returned. The police sadly are not legally allowed to intervene until you are physically assaulted. So, we have to get smart. Nowadays at my age, the unwanted male attention has stopped and I'm thankful for that. Best of luck to you and remember, the time will pass.

My best friend's dad used to stalk her, and there was so many times the managers had to walk outside and tell him to get lost. Or hide her in the back when they see him in the drive thru. (Yes, they banned him from the place as soon as she asked them too.) After she left, and started working in a city, he finally gave up and got the hint. Then fell for a scammer, and is now a million dollars in debt, and begging her mother to take him back after 2 failed relationships where he cheated and was abusive. Stay safe out there. (Oh and yes, her mom and her got a restraining order after he attempted to follow her home, because he doesn't know their current residence, one night and she called the police.)

The law is pathetic if stalking and touching a child, doesn’t lead to immediate arrest. Being trespassed is not enough to protect people esp when there’s no remorse. You can get harsher punishment for having weed in certain states than actual assault and intimidation. Smfh.

Not that im defending people that do that whatsoever, and accusations of those things need to be taken extremely seriously, but they are accusations not necessarily facts. therefore, they need to be investigated before they can be arrested.
