People who “hate cops”-are these exact sort of folks. They weren’t told *”no”* enough growing up, so when cops tell them “no” and their actions start to have real consequences, they freak out and play the victim (because they’re used to their temper tantrums getting them out of trouble). These type of people will never realize or accept that they are the architects of their own problems. If you simply remain calm, be respectful and follow the officer’s directions, none of this stuff will happen 99.99% of the time. (However, too many people refuse to do these things-and then they try to claim that “they were part of the 0.01% that were caught up in POLICE CORRUPTION/BRUTALITY!!”🙄)

My grandma was the peacekeeper in the family. She kept everyone in sync and in peace. She’s been gone for 20 years and every day I feel her absence more and more. The only time I saw her angry was when a boy hit me and got my knee bloodied. Even then she did not scream and just talked to that boy calmly, explaining why he was wrong. When I was a kid I ended up living with my paternal grandparents, and my grandfather was physically abusive with my brothers and me. I remember one time I escaped and managed to escape and flagged down a car. The lady was a neighbor, and, instead of helping, drove me back to my grandfather while praying loudly for me as he dragged me out of her car. Apparently someone saw me running down the street screaming for help and called the police for a welfare check. The police didn’t even ask me what happened or take a look at me. I was covered in bruises but they wouldn’t examine me. They told me there was no way a nearly 70 year old man could do the things I knew he had done to me. I will never forget or forgive the people who failed me as a child. I did my damndest to escape and get my siblings to safety, but EVERYONE failed me. This video really resonated with me. Just because someone is seemingly old and frail doesn’t mean they can’t do serious damage. Society has got to stop acting like because someone has reached a certain age they are somehow now wise and no longer capable of intentionally doing harm

Oh, yes. First, I'm sorry that happened to you and I wish I or my mother was there, she would have(and has taught me the same) done everything possible to get you out of that situation. My nom now has the responsibility of taking care of her mother, who has dementia. My grandma, just over 70 and 4'0, is the most vicious and cruel little gremlin I've ever known. Mom has been pushed onto the ground and walked over, kicked on many occasions, pinched(yes pinches bruise when you use every muscle in your hand and dig your nails in), scratched up, and screamed at with many insults and such. Why? Well, 90% of the time it's because she needs to be bathed... Yeah. 1st, old people aren't harmless people. 2nd, small people are more dangerous than average height people. „Respect your elders“ that’s what my dad (a combat vet and SFC of the army) used to tell me. Now at 27 years old and I have been working as an Specialist ICU Nurse for 7 years I can say that it may be true for older generations especially the greatest generation to ever live that fought during ww2. But current elderly generations definitely don’t deserve that treatment. They want respect they have to give respect. The current elderly generations are the most entitled and vile people on this planet. Definitely not everyone, but atleast once a day me and my colleagues are assaulted, sexually assaulted and treated like shit.

No more than the current younger generation. They are rude, entitled and have no respect towards life. Not all, but if you think those older ones are bad...wait until today's alpha generation get to be their age. We are going to hear stories that could be mistaken as the next world's wonder. lol - I'm a millennial (39 yrs old) and while I was taught to respect my elders; such as our vets because they're awesome. My mom is a vet so they hold a special place in my heart; but I agree. I think respect needs to be shown and given equally. Some elderly have a narcassistic personality and it sounds like these older ladies have NPD. With the exception of Christine who threw the driver at the other lady. She needs to stop trying to help her if the girl was such a trouble maker. I did feel bad for the one who threw the driver and got the girl in the knee as it seems like she was being taken advantage of. Although, she did need to handle it differently. It's why I am always saying, respect given and respect received; if the world spun like that then it would be a wonderful world to live in. Best we can hope for is to treat one another with kindness and hope to make a difference in someone's life and deal best with the ones who are not so kind.

I have the theory that stubbornness is the key to living forever. (as of this post) I have 2 living great grandmothers, one in her 90s and the other over 100, and they both have very stubborn personalities. Great grandpa husband to one, used to also be stubborn and would recall that Grandma was stubborn from the start. The only problem is that stubbornness is also a strong trait in these assholes that grow old and never grow up. lol.

Yeah, no. Those people in the nursing homes are suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia most of them and cannot actually help it. As a grand child of two Alzheimer's and dementia great grandparents; I've seen evil in those care homes from the people tasked with caring for them. I've volunteered and reported actual mistreatment, So don't even try to put blame on those residence because alzheimer and dementia patients often times don't understand why they're there and the people taking up care for them aren't equipped to take care of a dog, much less those with debilitating brain atrophy diseases. These people in the videos are stark different than those in nursing homes. You can miss me with that bull because the people that run the center and those tasked with caring for them are in it for one thing. Being as I had to go to a nursing home for rehabilitation after surgery, my pain meds after a major reconstruction surgery was denied from me and 'went missing' for over 12 hours and I was in my right mind because I was only 25 at the time and managed to get my mom and she helped get me out of there. My roommate laid neglected and actually passed while I tried getting help for her, so no. You can miss me with that bull about those 'poor' workers. Some of them are good people but the majority do it for the paycheck and they don't even do the f'in job they're assigned. The nursing home patients and these people are not even on the same coin. Try educating yourself; maybe then you two will not sound so ignorant.

@@TreatOthersWithKindnessi absolutely understand your argument but just as well as the workers can be good or bad, so can the residents. Every person in a nursing home is NOT there for dementia or Alzheimer’s, as a healthcare worker myself I’ve been mistreated by many patients bc of my race, bc of me being a woman and simply bc they were having a bad day and was IN THEIR RIGHT MIND. I absolutely get having had the experience you did tho and my heart goes out to you. But let’s not brush off Alzheimer’s and dementia for every elder that’s showing they ass. Yes there is a BIG collective of those who truly can’t control it. Then you have people who have been this way and grew deeper into it through time. And, as a grand child of an abusive grandmother i beg to differ on this claim…but ofc i know that’s bc of my biased perspective that’s rooted in MY OWN experiences. I’ve actually seen just how bad elderly ppl can be, vindictive…manipulative…and conniving and know they can do it because they wave around their age. Accountability is necessary when you have your sanity. And no in no way am i trying to shame elderly individuals, but let’s be real. There’s a good and bad to us ALL. Young, old, sick, healthy, rich, poor…it don’t matter

@@TreatOthersWithKindness As a former charge nurse in a care home, I can verify everything you just said. I fought with administration daily for proper staffing and care for the residents. It was awful. My advice: check on your loved ones frequently and at varying times of day and night. Never fall into a visitation routine or staff will adjust their care to coincide with your visits and neglect them at other times. There are advocates provided for those who need them (at least in Oklahoma). Get power of attourney for your loved one where possible so you have legal recourse if needed.

TL;DR government book cooking It inflates the amount of tax revenue it looks like they're receiving. If they print money and then tax the money they just printed, it looks like they're making more taxes. So then that gives them an excuse to print even more money since they've received more taxes to balance it out. It's like someone doing fake business transactions with one of their buddies, just sending the same money back and forth, to make it look like they're making more money than they actually are so they can qualify for a bigger loan.
