My parents were on crack when I was a kid and I NEVER acted out like these kids did. In fact it made me go the other way and I never wanted to touch drugs in any form. Then again I also was in therapy when I became a ward of the state at 12. I knew to be mad at my parents as it was their choices that put me in crappy situations. They both are clean now but it never really fixes the past trauma. I just never understood the need to take out your personal hurt on those around you. I did not like it when my parents did it to me so why would I ever want to inflict that pain on to others who did no wrong to me?
