Anthony Hopkins as the tough guy Calvert has the upper hand all the way through like another James Bond, but in a more thoughtful way I think. Like Bond, Calvert also has eternal quarrels with his boss, magnificently played by the incomparable Robert Morley. A very exciting story by Alistair MacLean filled with action and filmed inventively in beautiful Scottish coastal surroundings.

Great movie, interesting to see a young Anthony Hopkins playing a James Bond/The Saint type character! Torbay is a well known seaside resort in Devon, seems a bit odd pretending its in Scotland!
