@@horizoner2361 Not really, because the carbines were officially meant for security forces (incl. police!) and export. The weapon itself was the same length with some modifications to sights and so on. And unlike other commenters are suggesting, it was NOT the K98k. By 1935 Germany was openly rearming, so there was no need to conceal true intentions anymore. The actual rifles are 1923 Karabiner 98b and 1924 Standardmodell, though latter only started production in 1930s.

Actually they did not need any spare parts for their tanks. They only got some oil even after the British embargo mostly through Spain until 1943. GM also taught them how to make Blitz trucks but in reality most of their logistics was through horses. I think Curtis Hawk might have influence Stuka seeing how Göring bought some for Udet but that was hardly a crime since Soviet Union also bought a lot of stuff from the west like the Vickers tank for instance that was later developed for T26.

Armament may look superior at first, but the low number of guns made getting enough hits in difficult, and the broadside weight per minute (so basically the damage per second) was routhly equivalent to heavily armed heavy cruisers like the japanese Takao class. Since germans are uniquely talented in finding loopholes and being as efficient as possible, the legislation had to become so nuanced that the tiniest thing possible now tends to need hours of worktime. A prime example of this is the bundeswehr, where it was not unheard of to wait multiple weeks for one pair of new socks. And it also the birth of many words, that give nightmares to people learning german such as: "Ettikitierungskontrollbuchüberprüfungsgesetz"

I like how Germany drives to Poland in a Tiger when 98% of German armor in 1939 were Panzers I and II, the rest being early IIIs and IVs.

@@polishscribe674 For reference tiger 1s were much larger and had a more box like hull design then the Panzer IV in the video as well as it's tracks being much larger with an interleaving suspension design which looks a lot different then leaf spring design in the Panzer 4s tracks. (Or well for this later version of the Panzer 4 so that part depends on the model if I remember right but neither design looks anything like the Tiger 1 tank)

@@justaplayer94 Correct, its a Panzer IV F2 specifically, it has the long 75mm but no smoke grenade launchers like the G and no add on side and turret armor like the H and J.

It's like Japan telling China that the JSDF isn't a military organization. Or Russia with their “special military operation” in Ukraine. Or China with their Maritime Militia or whatever excuse they say about their military installations and extractive infrastructure in SCS.
