i saw your video debating an ex-trans person. as a Christian trans guy, what she had to say obviously freaked me out, but your response calmed me down instantly. i have a question though. are you still a Christian? how is your relationship with Jesus? have you ever felt guilt or conviction for being trans?

This is a really beautiful question. I am so deeply committed to my faith in God in every moment. I call on my higher power and Jesus almost daily. I offer to you to get still and quiet in your own experience. I offer that the fear you experience from listening to Laura in that video might not be your own, it’s not. God is love. God is not fear. Anything that keeps us in fear is not of God. I have had these internal conversations with myself so deeply, but I know the truth is that when I get still and it’s just me and God I am loved not despite being trans but because it is part of who I am. If I would have listened to the fear of other people I might not be here anymore, if you know what I mean. My relationship to God and expression of God that is Jesus has kept me alive as a trans person when faced with the fear of the world. I surrender to God in every moment and never have I needed to detransitioned to be loved more by God.
