Interesting. Your idea is not that bad, but what if Capcom instead makes SF6 a "remake" of SF3 events and reintroduces the characters better than how they did it before? (I say this because it would finally STOP these assumptions that those UDON comics have something to do with the lore when it's not true at all as they are 100% non-canon) It would narrate the events well, but with some retcons like the additions of some characters that were introduced in SFV (Like Menat, G and some others) and Urien having a bigger role as well as the involvement of Neo Shadaloo with Falke and Ed. If you say that he only cares about challenging other opponents to improve his skills and that's it, then how come he is close to his allies like Chun-Li, Cammy, Ken, Rose and Sakura? I mean, in that anime adaptation about SF4 showed Cammy being beat up by C. Viper and Ryu gets completely pissed to the point that he was losing control and was brutally attacking Viper much to her shock. And later Ryu calmed down after Sakura hugged him in tears and concern.

Capcom cannot do straight forward timelines to save their lives. Even with Resident Evil you have Resi 3 taking place before AND after Resi 2. It's as if they just can't help themselves lol. With SF6 taking place after SF3 there was a rumour I can remember hearing a while back Bison is the behind the mask of Q, in another body. Though with G being a thing, with that alternative costume, probably sinks that theory. Also with Akuma, I'd kinda like to see the more monstrous look from SF5 return. I feel like it would have been a better fit if it happened after SF3, like he's slowly going deeper into the Satsui no Hado, but he's not quite Oni yet, as with the prayer beads it could symbolise that there's still humanity in there. Especially when you consider how with Oni's entrance animation he rips the beads from around his neck, as if to fully discarding what little humanity he had left.

I think SF6 should take place a few years after 3rd strike,I also have theory that Oni akuma,from sf4 is canon,but his story takes place a few years ahead of the street fighter timeline.

sure evil ryu's a what if character but I honestly would like to see a what if- story saga for evil ryu where he and ken actually represent Gouki and Gouken. like capcom could use evil ryu to portray gouki and ken could portray a younger gouken,what I mean is like it's actually a flashback of akuma and gouken's past,but ryu and ken are being used to represent the characters themselves as metaphor,showing us that akuma before he became who he is,was once like his brother's student and predecessor? perhaps ryu is what's left a gouki's humanity,similar to M.bison and rose,two halves of the same coin?

One thing I would like to see is having Seth reprogrammed by the secret society. Ordered by either Gill or Urien when Seth fights either of them and is defeated.

They could go two ways about it: Let the series rest a bit and reboot it (a la mortal Kombat) and release some other fighting games in the mean time Or Continue beyond third strike, but I don't see them returning to the Alex protagonist idea . It would be cool if Ken's son was trained by Ryu

Good video, I agree with the fact that Urien should be the next antagonist but they really should expand his lore, for now he's just "Gill's Brother" the version of the boss character created to be balance and playable, he only wants to be as broken as gill, they should give him a real backstory. That's the same problem I had with Dictator, he's just bad because he likes to be bad and he wants to take over the world (Of course !) but I accept that backstory for Dictator because he's a vilain character from a video game from the 80's. However Sagat did it right, he was just a bad guy, he wanted to be the best fighter in the world, he gets beat by the satsui no hado with the scar and all, he became a real danger for ryu but he's now his rival and friend because he learned from his mistakes. I think they should even expand Urien's lore by his movelist like they expanded Sagat's lore by his movelist, from no DP to the Tiger Blow in alpha series created for damages but not a good anti-air (because the move was created to kill, not in the self-defense purpose)to the Tiger Uppercut, a good move in both defense and offense. They should at least return his quotes he's saying when he lands a hit (Crush/Kill/Destroy) in 3.3, that was my favorite part of the character and it's gone in SFV, you could argue that is because in SFV Urien is not as angry as he's in 3.3 but still, that's a bummer :/ And also, yes Ryu he's not the hero of the game even if he's the main character and I'm totally ok with that, I think that Alex was supposed to be the true hero of Street Fighter, he had a goal, he wanted to avenge his adoptive father (and it's normal when you know that it's motherfucking Jean Reno) and he seeks to be a really good fighter like ryu. But who knows why, Capcom decided that in SFV he's here and... yeah he's here, he doesn't do anything interresting, wth Capcom ? I think that's because he had no real backstory before Street Fighter 3 events so I suppose that the devs just put him in the game for the 3.3 fans. But man, even he's lv 50 online title is "Nameless Hero", it could be awesome to see Alex in SF6 as that nameless super hero from metro city/new york who fights for the weaks, he could have this double personnality when he's a pro wrestler the day and something like daredevil the night, he could even team up with Rashid - who is already that kind of "super hero guy" - to beat a really bad guy in a subplot of the main story... But I think that the real hero of SF6 should be Ed, he has a nice backstory and his gameplay is really noob friendly, plus the fact that he's the leader of Neo Shadaloo makes a lot of potential in the scenario of the next game, they will maybe declare war against illuminatis ? I really hope Capcom will make something great with him because I really like the character since SF4 and his state of mind in SFV (really taunty and cocky like Balrog but "nicer"), if only they make him a bit less muscular that would be perfect (something like Rock Howard actually) And for the "akuma is ryu's father" part, i'm not entirely sure, I mean, I'll prefer subtle hints than a big "hey you know that bad guy over here ? he's you dad", for me that fact never should be 100% certain in the saga.
