Omg I feel it has been SO LONG that a kpop idol sang their song acoustic like this with zero processing, auto-tune etc. JUST RAW. Idk why idols don't do that anymore. Even the lives that are supposed to be acoustic have auto-tune.

idols do not do it because most of them are not capable to sing live. even without dancing it feels like that most of the idols just cannot sing or are quite bad at it. that's why there is lipsync. most encore stages show the singing "skills" of the idols. often far from good or carried by the main vocalist.

@@silvercactus1 From the newest groups, aespa and StayC have very good singing skills, but I still never heard a performance like this from them, no backtrack or effects at all. I saw their recording behind they're so good. There are other groups who prove they can sing well on the encore stages, but they never sing raw like this. The standard for singing in kpop have dropped a lot but there are still many good singers so it's not a reason why.
