One thing that I think could make the lightsabers look even better is to have pieces made to act as the kind of motion blur/streak that lightsabers have in the actual movies.

The through-the-head effect with the red lightsaber was incredibly well done. Very smooth, lots of movement conveyed with just the blade.

it is a common misconception that stormtroopers have bad aim but in reality they missed on purpose in episode four so that they could place a tracking device on the millenium falcon to lead them to the rebel base which turned out to be the best move

missed the opportunity to make the second trooper pick up the lightsaber the wrong way (it's hard to tell which way is correct in lego) so it would be funnier that way.
