I had surgery for a meniscus tear, two months later I needed a partial knee replacement. Seven months after my partial knee I needed a total knee replacement. Once that scope enters that capsule it’s a crap shoot.

So I throw in heat just like I was recommended and swelling goes away about 2 days. But I’m not sure how long I can keep this up for.. I don’t want to stop playing soccer but I’m just not sure what else to do…

Hello I had grade 3 meniscus tear as per my MRI, and suggested to go for surgery, but i left it as it is and focused on my knee strengthening exercises, ne i can run easily, I can do squats with ease I have no such pains, no swelling, do i still need to go for surgery or what? I fall while skiing... Its been 5 days.. First i had pain on medial aspect of knee.. And swelling... No locked sensation.. I can walk and stretch but slightly painful when i stretch my leg at the medial side . And when flex for climbing stairs also slightly pain.. No pop sound.. May i know is my symptoms are mild, moderate or severe injury.. I apply hot compress and put knee brace when i wore knee brace its so good.. Ease my pain

Wish I could get mine checked out. I am in constant pain as I work on my feet all day. My knee swells, I have constant achey sore feeling in it, sharp shooting pain. If it is torn idk how I did it. I felt no pop or anything. I have a ton of crepitus on my knee cap. You can hear it when I bend knee and you can also feel it

Hello! I hit my knee pretty hard about 3 months ago and ever since I’ve had throbbing pain, sharp pain, my knee pops when I move it, I’m also in basketball so it’s kinda holding me back. I seen my trainer the other day and she said she’s pretty sure I may have a small tear in my cartilage behind my kneecap. What can I do?

So I have a torn meniscus(unsure of exact location, waiting to see doc) but I have no pain. It just feels weird and knee popps when folding leg to a 90 degree angle. Does this mean it isn't severe if theres no pain? I did a pretty hard hike the other day and felt strong on the knee.
