She didn’t. The son told her he knew who k!lled Seath after they saw a new report about his being missing. He didn’t say that it was him, and his sister, and their friends, but he confessed right away after getting to the police station. Amber continued lying during her first interview because her mom was in the room and only told the truth when she was put in a room away from her mom and interviewed again.

@@GradKat no.. it is disgusting. a normal reaction would be more in line with thoughts such as "what have i done" "please come back" "i didn't mean it" "i want him to come back" "im so sorry" etc. not "this is our life now" or "people are gonna hate us for this". those thoughts are more likely to occur a while after the crime, whilst the individual has had time to think, and isolate themselves more so from the incident. anyone to say stuff like this, this soon, is disgusting. they may still be kids, but they are mentally old enough to recognise what they've done, and what a selfish reaction to it looks like. normal people would feel awful if they thought/said such things. because yes i believe kids can say that stuff because you've got a lot of emotion you're dealing with if you've committed this, but as soon as you've said it, it would be instant regret and disgust with yourself if you had any remorse.

@@blinkingbat7447 I've seen enough true crime docs that I've realized you can be a great parent or a terrible parent or somewhere in between, and your kid(s) could still turn out this way; most kids like this come from messed up and abusive backgrounds, but it simply isn't the case 100% of the time. It's a statistical impossibility, and that's a sobering thought. That being said, I'd also like to say, it's waaaay more common for kids to be let down by their parents than the other way around. I'm just playing devil's advocate here because- as someone who isn't a parent and came from a very unhealthy and abusive family myself- I'm surprised I legitimately pity some of the parents in these videos.

How can their parents allow the minors to hang out with adults ! and date a grown man without knowing drugs and alcohol involved?!!! You have to be involved and monitoring who they’re friends with! And the killer had a whole another girlfriend! They knew Mike picked him as a victim and they allowed it to happen! They ALL had an opportunity to inform the police.

They probably lied. IDK why they'd want to. This would just be a time a shady adult tried to be friends with me. We would laugh at how crazy he was and go back to watching TV or something. Seriously people be friends with your kid because what appears to them as juicy gossip you can recognize as danger.

No. They never even thought about it. Most likely, especially the girls, never expected anybody getting seriously hurt. If the one drugged up guy didn't pull a gun and started shooting it would all go down as another teenager fight among boys. Sure, they talked shit about it before, but they are kids. They talk shit all the time and nothing comes out of it. It was all a joke to them: we get him inside, kick his ass, have a laugh. Then Mike pulls a gun and shoots him on the spot at which point everybody is horrified, and shell shocked into just following the ringleader. They were stupid, not evil. Mike is evil, possibly a psychopath (if he snorted pills it was most likely Adderall or other amphetamine, those won't make you a murderer but might lower the threshold for action you wanted to take anyway).
