A small town in North Dakota, about 15 minutes outside of Bismarck lived the Entzel family. The family was described as “the perfect family”. Chad, the father, was a successful engineer, his wife Nikki, a talented and successful baker and their two well-educated children. So it was shocking when in January of 2020, Chad was found shot to death with a shotgun and his body badly burnt from a fire that randomly started in the home. Ironically, Nikki and her kids weren’t in the home during the fire. But police would later uncover the gruesome details of Chads death when 2 days later, Nikki tries to collect 600K dollars of Chads life insurance and attempts to run away with her secret lover she’d been having an affair with for the past year.

Totally agree with this and thought it myself - I never post my daughter on anything. She’s a child and can’t consent to me showing her face to strangers, and we don’t know what some of those vile strangers would do with those pictures. So until she’s old enough to decide for herself she is not on any of my SM. This is in no way saying this woman is a decent person - she’s obviously a horrific monster, but not showing her kids faces online isn’t one of the things that speaks to that!

As a 16-17 year old, I really appreciate that there are people like you guys that do not post pictures of your children without their consent (even thought they or I cannot legally consent to you posting them) but to also protect their identity. I know my parents have posted me on their facebook since I was a child and thinking on what people could be doing with those pictures really disgusts me.

@@deannadanielle I think people just want to have unbiased reporting on cases like these. I don’t think anyone thinks Nicki is a good person or that she didn’t do it but reporting cases like this where you say that ‘anyone could see that she was a selfish person’ and adding in other information to make her look more like a clear villain can lead to people’s perceptions being changed on cases when she acknowledges that this case has a lot of unanswered questions. I also think from a moral point of view it’s important to not put people into black and white since it absolves the people around them and society of blame when you say ‘ah, they were just an evil person’ rather than saying ‘they were a person who did evil things and here’s how we can avoid having a case like that in the future’.

The “cute, shy girl” act INFURIATES me! My male friend was stalked by his now ex (she was a coworker) before they wound up going out and people at their company and in their social circles treated it as a sweet little infatuation because she’s a petite blonde who wears her hair in pigtails. She stalked him after they broke up, too, and I know if the roles were reversed my friend would have a criminal record for doing the same as her. Same with Sherri Papini, she also pulled the “I’m an innocent widdle giwl” act and it drove me crazy 😤

The “side tangents” are incredibly relevant. Interrogators will usually just let a suspect continue to talk without interrupting - not sure what they did here - but talking about a gambling problem and your husband having an affair with a man? Sort of points to motive doesn’t it? Also just shows she feels nothing for Chad, she’s perfectly willing to make up nefarious lies when he’s no longer around to correct them.

Very crazy Case Hailey!! Earl should have gotten 50-60 years in prison!! They were both bad people!!! It's always a wonderful time when Hailey uploads a video!! Happy Wednesday!!

If the burning of the house went perfect I wonder if they would have gotten away with it. Scary thought.

It actually makes sense Earl didn’t get life as well I think they probably came to the conclusion that Nikki was the mastermind. Earl didn’t just come up with the idea to get the insurance she knew what she was doing, and Earl was dumb enough to go along with it. I think Earl is just a sheep he followed the lead of a horrible woman seen the same thing with some woman especially the younger ones 🤦🏾‍♀️ she is more responsible for his death tbh

not sure how many people will see this but my pop pop was a lawyer here in Tampa and if you waste there money by taking it to trial they'll defiantly make you regret it but i think both should've gotten life

The staged crime scene in this case is so ridiculous. So he threw a bunch of barely smoked cigarettes around, shot himself in the back, then the face, then laid the gun nicely beside himself, then there was a crazy coincidence that a mild propane fire happened right after? Poor Chad

I have watched another channel upload this same story, while theirs had a lot more video & audio from the case, yours was incredibly more detailed. You provided several facts that the other video did not. Thank you for the awesome video 😊
