This is a Christmas song from the perspective of someone who has so little in this world, and yet who still finds something Good and Meaningful that touches their heart and soul. To me, this song is about finding something deep inside you, or outside you, that you can respond to and believe in and be warmed by and thankful for, even when things are difficult in your life.
