Even when the police asks for an ID they do need a legal reason to actually enforce it. ID laws vary from place to place and can be quite confusing. I am not that happy with it to be honest but only because Hitler is the person who came up with the idea of having ID laws. It does make the work that police officers do alot easier and prevents minors from acces to certain products in a more precise manner. But it also reduces your freedom as an individual and leads to alot of arrests for failure to carry around your ID at all times. It's also really inconvieniant when you lose your ID at certain times. Now just like prisoners, we are nothing more than a number to the system. Designed to add value to the GDP and to the banking cartel. If the police would start doing actual policework instead of time consuming laws that still go against the first amendmend there would be alot more respect for them as a whole. Now we have hunderds of cases of child abuse that do not even get looked at, assault and rape cases the same. And don't even get me started on theft. I prefer the police to work on those cases. I could give a reasonable freakout with plenty of ad hominems in there while knowing that you as a cashier and as an individual have nothing to do with those laws other than following them.

I'm 29 years old and going through a mid-life crisis myself. I experienced some things, but mostly feel like I wasted my 20's as a whole. There have been reasons, but I am just beginning to understand why and how my life went the way it went. It's been hard trying to adapt to life in general, and to the technological advances which have been made within the last 20 years. The world I grew up in feels like part of history, and the future seems either terrifyingly unpredictable or terrifyingly predictable. I have finally learned that I'm in search for genuine human compassion and love, which seem increasingly hard to find. The thing about life which strikes me the most so far is, how quickly you go from 'the youthful' to becoming 'fully fledged adults' without even realising or feeling like it. And then the realisation that, generally speaking, adulthood will probably be the the biggest part of your life. Jokes aside, we're all in this together, and let's be nice to each other while we're here🫂.
