Mistake videos or customer service scenarios are the best because in real life we learn from each other's mistakes and experiences anyway. That's authentic.

As a training technician I would soooo appreciate seeing the mistakes as well as the complete successes. I’ve kind of gravitated towards this channel as a tool to peek into the real world; I want to take your path and eventually man my own business and make my own way. Show us what’s real, the realness is what resonates with other people!!!!!

Probably not a bad board. We are a Trane dealer, sometimes those wires are not seated completely into those plugs and make poor contact, was assembled on Friday.

Am also doing HVAC in the Murfreesboro area. Came from apartment maintenance into HVAC fulltime this month, been loving the channel. Learning everything I can, hvac has been enjoyable so far, way better than the shoddy work at some of the apartments around here.

Mistake videos are okay but only thing is everyone handles situations differently. I definitely feel that vlog styles that show best practices and troubleshooting methods are the best to not only show your professionalism but also help the next generation see that yeah it’s a hard trade but it can be rewarding in so many aspects of life. Keep up the good work. 🤝🏻

I’ve taken a din rail screwdriver and opened up the pins on the molex plug a little bit and it’ll tighten up the connections. I’ve had that fix random electrical issues in a unit.

I don't watch your videos to see a "movie". I want to see what happens and how to deal with it. I enjoy the content and appreciate the good videos. I would say that a raw, rough edited video regularly is better than an a high quality edited video here and there. Thanks for your channel and showing your work.

Could be any number of causes. That outdoor furnace could have corrosion on the Molex connection, a bad solder joint on the board. You might have actually closed the limit circuit just by putting your meter across the pair. As far as the aggregation factor, just remember 2 things: 1- Family comes first. 2- Everything you do IS for the family. Take it easy brother and just run with the punches. Stay well 👍

Also I like the idea of more videos. As someone who enjoys the craft and is in the industry I know all too well about things going sideways. That kinda stuff, while a pain in the ass, or maybe not ideal, could make some good content. I just like your videos and I’ve taken ideas for my tool and van setup from you.

I can understand why people are helicopters... but man is it a nightmare as a newer tech. It's stressful enough figuring out what's wrong sometimes or if you have to call someone, and then you have the customer hovering over you.

My usual "Don't go to plan" calls almost always involve communicating systems. I hate when a simple reset solves the symptoms but doesn't identify the problem. Don't sweat showing or not showing field work. Your priority on the call is to help the customer, right?
