My name is David and with my dog Lefty we travel the country in our ambulance conversion RV. I made this change to my life and you can too! Like, subscribe and comment! Lefty would appreciate it - he wants the adventures to keep coming!
The Campulance is a 2002 Ford E450 Marque Commando 164 Class III ambulance powered by the Ford 7.3l Powerstroke turbo diesel engine and a 4 speed 4R100 transmission. Lefty is a 68lb American Staffordshire Terrier (best I can tell) that came from the Verona Street Animal Shelter (www.vsas.org/) in March 2014 at the age of 9 months. @@TheCampulanceManI went in to my doc simular he scheduled me for gall bladder surgery before I got back from the sonogram, as he said that I had too many gallstones that were very dangerous size and needed to be removed right away my gallbladder, I told him no, I would take care of it as I was studying natural alternatives and found out that I took 1 500 mg of bromelain every time I had a pain but I actually was taking that for my carpal tunnel pain. However one of the benefits was it dissolved my gallstones completely over 100 of them and I went back in and the doctor did another sonogram and said what happened to him I’ve never seen this happen. What did you do?

Sending best wishes and healing vibes. Low fat is actually NOT the answer. Research. The standard of care with doctors is ten years behind. New research as come to light. Doctors forced to follow an out of date protocol. Keto will fix ya right up. Had the same problem and went through the same routine. Breads, cereals, pasta, starch and sugar is the problem.

@TheRWE12 Agreed. Let me add that a “balanced” plate is one of the worst ways to eat, fat and carbs is no-no, it turns on the Randle cycle/causes inflammation. Vegetable and seed oils are the worst, you don’t have to avoid fat for your gallbladder, broad spectrum enzymes and keto. Doctors couldn’t find stones or any physical issue with my gallbladder, I was forced to find alternative help and I did, years later, I can still eat high fat foods, just not with carbs 😊. Take care David.

Had my gallbladder removed about 30 years ago. Just when laparoscopic surgery was starting to become popular. I was in pain from everything I ate, major pain. My gallbladder was completely full of stones. They did the laparoscopic surgery, they couldnt even get the gallblader out of the hole it was so full of stones. They had to open it up & remove stones before they could pull it out. I had problems eating watermelon for about 3 years & after that I could eat it again & I have not had any problems. But they dont remove gallbladder like they use to, they remove the stones but leave the gallbladder intact. I can say I am really glad I had mine removed!

I had left side pain, was nauseous for 6 months, and lost 25 pounds before a sonogram indicated that I was having gall bladder problems. I had 8 or 9 gallstones, and it was full of sand. I was given the choice of treatment or surgery. I wanted it taken out! It was an out patient surgery and an easy recovery. The doctor said that I didn't have to change my diet and I've been fine.

Tip: If one’s health ever requires hospitalization remember there are plenty of quality veterinarian offices that also offer boarding/kenneling for a daily/weekly fee that usually have large enclosed bedding area as well as attached kennel run. And attendants also provide outdoor walk/play areas with and/or without other dogs based on one’s pet’s socialization level. 🐶

You are describing a persistent pain I had around my lower right abdominal area about a year and a half ago, just before I retired. The docs took blood, urine, and an MRI. Later they came in and said my internal organs were fine, my kidneys, liver and appendix looked ok. No sign of kidney stones. They had no idea what was causing me the pain. It was only during a recent road-trip that I got to thinking about it and wondered what became of that pain. I guess it just faded away over time. Getting old ain't for wimps!

Passed about 4 gallstones over a period of 6 months. Wow, passing gallstones is painful! Finally when I was passing a stone I went to my primary doctor and said I am not leaving until he fixed me. Around 15 minutes after closing they called me back. He gave me a GI cocktail. About 20 minutes later he asked pain level. I said 10. He sent me to hospital where they admitted me. I was in pain most of the night. In the morning the stone passed and I was out of pain and ready to leave. They kept me another day then removed my gallbladder. Since then, no problems or pain.

I had my gallbladder out many years ago. I went through bowel "problems" for years. FYI after the removal, the bile from the liver now will dump directly into the small intestine and can cause irritation in the intestine and trigger diarrhea.

I had my gallbladder removed about a year and a half ago. It had been causing me severe pain behind my right shoulder blade. It was diagnosed as muscle skeletal injury. I spent a fortune at the chiropractor for no relief. Finally got correct diagnosis, had it removed and was no longer in pain. Doctors are only as good as the information we give them. The thing to remember is that doctors have their own biases that may take them down a different path. Lefty is looking good.

Oxbile has been a life saver for me! ❤❤❤ I still eat what I want when I want. I am 50 years old. I have a family history of gallbladder problems. My mom and her five brothers and sisters all had theirs out. My surgeon said she was aware of what Oxbile was, but she could not say anything about it legally. ❤

I had my Gallbladder out 2020 and I take OxBile from Dr Eric Berg. I was a million bucks after my GB was out. I was in pain for 6 months b4 my coworker (ultrasound) scanned me and noticed I was full of stones. She saved me bcuz my GP and a GI specialist never gave my gallbladder a thought. They just threw antacids at me bcuz my pain was in my upper, middle stomach never in my rt side. That’s bcuz mine was so back up that the bile acid was dissolving my liver and pancreas. That’s what the Surgeon said. Good luck. The GB is no joke. Some families just make more stones than others my surgeon said. You may be part of that crew!

@Josephine-sm2db 4 ай бұрын
Yes, our gall bladder produces bile to help us digest our food. Sometimes our GB gets backed up with sludge. Dr Eric Berg says Tudca helps to remove the sludge and hopefully heal the gall bladder. Taking oxbile is a good idea if the gall bladder can't produce bile anymore.

Hope you feel better David. Don’t wait till April if you don’t feel better. I have eaten low fat for years now. Heart issues. Best thing is to read labels for portion size and sodium content in addition to fat content saturated especially. You can still have taco salad just pick a very lean beef or ground steak a lighter cheese etc. Do you have an air fryer? It is the best. You can get salt free and flavorful seasonings for chicken or fish plus roast veggies in it. They crisp up so yummy. I eat salad every day. I love Caesar salad. It is simple and flavorful. Portion out the dressing and croutons and Parmesan for one serving and crispy green lettuce. There is a lot of food to stay away from but also there is a lot of low-fat healthy food you can find. Love hearing Lucky talk to you. ❤

I put up with a wonky GB for a few years but ended up takeing it out. Keep it in as long as you can because out you really dont want to stop eating greasy food. Even a burger will give me a little pain because with out it your body cant handle greasy food. (And lets be honest it is the best). Just try to limit the greasy for as long as possible. I have 5 small scars now so my beach bod is gone. I am 63..... good luck.

FYI, I complained about abdominal pain years ago and the dr ignored it… fast forward to 2018, I was sick and bloated all the time. My new dr ordered an ultrasound… no gall stones and looks normal. But because of my symptoms she wanted a hyda-scan on the gall bladder. Turns out my gall bladder was functioning at less than 1%. It basically died. Had my first dr took my complaint seriously I may have been able to do something… I had to have it removed and it affects what I eat and how I feel now! Advocate for yourself!

I had gallstones. The doctor described to me as filling up a 5 oz cup with crush ice. Painful as ALL OUT DOORS!!! But watch your health. Change your diet .

Right side means "maybe" gall bladder issues. Gall bladder releases bile to help digest your food. Doctors love to remove your gall bladder but Dr Eric Berg says that sometimes it gets backed up with sludge. He said Tudca works to remove the sludge. That way no need to remove gall bladder. We need our gall bladder for the bile it produces.

Stay away from broccoli for awhile. I had to give it up. Cauliflower too. Fast for a couple of days only drinking water. I love Dr. Ekberg on KZfaq!!! I’m doing his 30 days no sugar or carbs! Only eating Meats and a few veggies. I really started feeling better than ever!! He has a lot of videos on the gut. Good luck!

Hi David and Lefty. Glad you are feeling better!!! Power was out after huge storm here in Sacramento, so I boondocked at home. I get the gb pain if I have sour cream, ice cream and ranch dressing. If it hurts I have some lemon water and sleep on my right side. I’m 58. I guess this stuff just happens. I try to roll with it. ~Best wishes from Shannon and Kona 🐾🩵🐾

Yeah, I am in the same situation now. I have a brother n law in the hospital, so I'm going his house every 3 hours to let his little dog out and feed him. But I just want him to feel secure. I am sorry you feel bad, but I am glad you are maybe on the mend. I would have that be seen by my regular doctor when possible. I am 66 years old and I have found that besides the aches and pains, I am no longer able to eat what I once did. I love salty foods and plenty of spices, but I can't seem to digest the way I once did. So I have to cut back on the salt some and a lot on the spices. Can't offer you much advice except moderation, that is from a personal level. Hope you get to feeling better, I hope the antibiotics take care of this.

So sad when our bodies begin to age as things wear out. I was your age when I had my first attacks I felt like I was having a heart attack. Unfortunately I had to have my gallbladder removed several years later. Soo for now just be aware of what you’re eating. Also read/study seek all information on how your gallbladder functions. I’m now 78 years old and as a retired geriatric nurse I still have to be aware of my dietary needs. I’m 🙏 for you and your aging health ❤

Gallbladder I am guessing. Had mine removed. Different foods react differently with each person. I suggest eating bland, not spicy. No sweets, fatty food, ice cream. Skip corn. Nuts caution! Suggest you begin to log your foods you eat. Log date, time food you eat. This way you can decide which foods to remove from your diet. You need to get it removed when you get back home. The new procedure is easy.

Please know when you finish with the antibiotics you will need probiotics to keep your gut bacteria in balance. Don’t forget to get proper amounts of water. As a van camper I recognize we sometime don’t drink as much water as we should. 💦

I used papaya enzymes with meals until my gallbladder got bad enough to be removed. They helped. It was child sized though I was an adult. Obviously couldn’t work properly.

Sorry you are going through this.....I have had my gall bladder removed. Before that it didn't matter what type of fat I ate....it would cause an attack which hurts pretty bad....so go as low fat as possible to keep from having attacks.......hope things get better for you soon......♥️
