The hardhead fishermen cant catch fish out of those schools. I'm glad thresher finally took my advice and is running those jetty jacks down like we did with cleats or spikes in the 60's. Now he needs to put some chartreuse rope fiber or bucktail on that spoon. He'll kill'em

Thresher if you drive done the national sea shore you can get to an old camping spot at Yarborough and launch ur boat to get to the land cut and nine mile. There was good fishing before the freeze but I have not been back since

One thing I will say.............I so WISH our jetty's looked like that up here in Oregon! The further you walk out , it's like jumping from one school bus to another with gigantic boulders! Plays havoc on your knee's and it beats the crap out of me!

Caught my jack yesterday at SPI TX Jetties,,been after those bad boys since march,,just lots of bonitas showing up,,..till finally yesterday on light tackle battle 3 3500 7ft waterloo rod with 1oz silver spoon ,,dang gave me a nice fight ,, was able to land that bad boy ,,hell yeah man,,..all my techniques come from you bro believe it Fish On!!!

Thresher you should look into adrenalin fishing boots from Australia. I got some you don't need to put cleats on everytime they got them on it already. They work wonderful at all the jetties. Plus awesome when you walk on all that slime

Love the videos man. I get down to Aransas whenever I can but never fished the jetties too much. Would you say you have to get all the way out there to the end to be able to chunk lures like that? And what sort of retrieve do you use for that spoon? Just drop it to the bottom and jig it all the way up?
