Walmart employees openingly watch me. They just repeatedly randomly pop-up when I'm in the sales section that I frequent. I simply speak and keep right on shopping. They constantly come back to to check the shelves, etc...doesn't bother me one bit. In fact there's been a few times where I've accidentally left things in my cart at check out and have returned them to the store after discovering it it while removing my bags from the cart.

They are always watching me when I shop. I can literally feel their eyes on me and demeanor and watch all the pointless movements they make trying to make it looking like they're shopping lol funny because I'm actually a very honest guy but I'm judged by my looks and beanie hat and hoody season don't help either lol

Same here! I would never steal anything but it's kinda funny to watch them waste their time on me😂 I dress pretty scrubby and never shave just hit it with the clippers but the best part is I know I make at minimum double what they do I used to get mad about it but my wife told me not waste my time on it because if you ain't doing anything wrong in the end you just make them feel dumb 😂

I've been in this situation before when I used to work as a loss prevention, I just called my partner to take over with out letting the shoplifter know and keep the observation

The 86 year old sweet grandma wearing her Sunday best after leaving church. The friendly smiling man who loves discussing the weather. It’s not like a thief will throw on a hoodie and skulk the aisles as if it’s a stealing uniform.

The next person being thrown under the bus may be you for the right job. Our quality of life always starts and ends with us. Jobs like these are not the solution to a better world.

I used to live near a small town in Cali. I would often shop at the RiteAid there while waiting on prescriptions to be ready for pickup. One day I noticed that 2 different people kept popping up on the same aisle as me. Now this being a smaller store at first I didn't think much of it. Until the 3rd time it happened. So I then made a game of it whenever I was in town. I started to go their just to f$#@ with them.. So I always started in the cosmetics aisle. I would spend a few minutes picking stuff up and putting it down. Then i would gather about 20 items in my hand held basket while wondering around the store looking at greeting cards and random crap. I did this for about 2 months. Once I had all of my Mom's meds switched to Walmart I did my last "fu$& Em" shopping trip which I kept them on their toes for an hour. Once at checkout, per usual they had Mr.Scum behind me with his fake purchases. Of course the store was rather busy because it was Saturday in Susanville Calf😒 I then turned around and announced in a loud clear controlled voice..... "I'm sick of this store assuming that I'm going to rip them off. Every time I come into this store I'm followed by the guy behind me as well as 2 females. Just know this, I have never stolen anything from your crap store. However, I've always given a thumbs up to the 3 boosters who follow me in here because they know that your not going to pay them any mond at all " I left the basket on the counter and walked out. Was it petty? Yes....Was I questioned by local law enforcement? Yes ... But I had done nothing wrong and it felt good watching those POS's turn beet red because they realized just how true my statement was

AP-09 policy states that the first element to observe is suspicion, this, (according to our standards) is listed as, out of season clothing, large boxed, unorganized carts, more aware of shopping then surroundings. I don't doubt that this AP may have been wrongfully watching you, also hes a terrbile floor walker for walking infront of a suspect and literally looking them in the face and staring back at you; but im sure there was something about you that may have been suspicious, all and all; don't be so harsh on aps, some are bad but most are just doing their job and wont bother you/watch you too long just as long as you dont keep arousing suspicion.

You have an expensive cart. You should be proud you have their attention if you’re not there to steal. That’s the only reason you’re being watched unless you’re also showing suspicious behavior. If you would’ve made it obvious that you were messing with them, they could’ve demanded you leave the property for messing with business and not shopping as a customer. When requested to leave, if you refuse, you can be arrested because Walmart property is still private property even though it’s open to the public. Open to the public while being private property and public property are two different things.
