DxD was unrealistic in one way for me, there is no way in human biology that someone can be that fucking horny, man gets stabbed by a demon, his major concern is not death, but the fact he never touched a woman, after becoming a servant to a devil, his concern, was that he might, might get to have a Haram, tho, he does stick to his morals I'll give him that

To be fair, the studio knew exactly what they were doing. The opening is just Fenrys and the anime is just Fenrys.

Its the little things i love in the anime. Like Fenrys's cooking. They didn't dwell on her being a horrible cook, nor did she learn to cook overnight with a friend showing her how. She straight up takes a cooking class, fails a lot and slowing gets better with hard work. Even then shes still going back to learn how to cook new things.

Both anime with chillin in the title are basically that, even if the MC is OP, they both don't want to fight, they just want to have a peaceful life with their loved ones. I already watch the one in his 30s and I liked it and I'm liking this one also.

I admit when it is the case but for Chillin' it was actually seeing a clip of Flio go all out because Fenrys was injured by the djinn peaked my interest. Along with hearing Fenrys is active in keeping this from being a harem anime which was kinda refreshing to witness. That said yea Fenrys antics is defiantly carrying the series for me.

Yep. What I like about this anime is that it just doesn't focus completely on the MC and his girl, it focuses on other couples as well. Even the "Hero" and his girlfriend are entertaining for the short bits they get.

What makes Rys my ideal favorite anime female character and best female mc (2nd mc) of all is: … • Gorgious body • Beautiful & Cute • Busty (H Cup) • Beautiful hair & eye color • Carring • Blushing • Wifely • Used the best waifu line everyone has heard off: Would you like dinner, a bath or perhaps… • Wolfly features • Can transform into a big wolf (a Lupine) • Prideful (like a warrior & understands it) • Gets angry for her husband’s sake • Free wake up call alarm • Loves to doot on her Husband • Great chief (episode 3) • Protective Wife • Sometimes gets the wrong idea (in a funny way😂) • Strong Demon • Will go anywhere as long as her husband is with her • Will do anything for her husband (And probably more reasons in the future eps of the anime.)

FYI: this comment is full of spoilers to highlight why this show is worth the watch aside from wolf waifu I checked it out because I like to give those long titles the benefit of the doubt. I stayed because the show executed it's plot points well and even added in a few things. -He doesn't pursue a harem -Find it kind of funny that band of adventurers just kind of decided to live a chill life and pursue other careers to not be freeloaders, plus they actually find fulfillment in the career change. -The demon lords pursuit of that side character and actually just wanting peace with mankind, but being forced into war is an awesome aspect you don't see in these power fantasies. -The other hero turning into James from pokemon, complete with his own Jessie. Solid -His devotion and how he genuinely falls in love with Rys. Really well done. -There is one episode where they should have skipped the intro cause it's tone-deaf to what is happening. It's so bad it's almost funny though. It's a really well crafted show which is elevated by it's writing and story direction. It's decent animation and fully embaces it's chill vibe.

Biggest difference between the 2 "Chilling" anime is that this one focuses a lot more on the couples antics and their expansion of the pack. In my 30's is more about the MC.

You convinced me (to watch for myself), and I don't regret it. Fenrys is definitely an attractive waifu, but what sold me on her status as a best girl was her personality. She's hilarious, and the way she goes the distance for Flio is endearing. If the show gets a 2nd season, I'd watch it because she doesn't fail to make the scenes she's in enjoyable. I think Hiya had some pretty good moments, too.

Rys was my weekly dose of diabeetus and I loved it. It was a fun show, I liked the protag being anti-slavery and anti-war. Rys shutting down the harem idea early was a nice change of pace and SPOILER WARNING . . . . . her and Flio finally sealing the deal in the last episode was nice. I'm glad they didn't push that off for "the trope". Hoping for Season 2!

You skipped Flio casting Purification over the entire forest and wiping out an entire Demon army, commanded by Fenris' brother. Fenris is okay with that because survival of the strongest is a Lupine instinct. That's why Fenris first submits to Flio; he's STRONG. Alpha male of his pack.

@8:49 That’s because you haven’t gotten to see the scene that determines what that drive will be for him yet… I’m pretty sure what they’re doing is the long con of setting expectations of him just be “Stereotypical OP MC” for quite a few/handful of episodes before the divine moment (anyone who has read the manga or watch any manga recap videos of the story should know what I am not-so-subtlety talking about) occurs that sets-up what in particular will drive Flio and be something he will have to defend against and in my opinion will make his OP powers not seem so OP anymore (that is if the anime does a faithfully good job of adapting that particular scene/plot-point and not “drop the ball” when they do try to attempt to adapt it).

Oh ya the studio knew what they where doing! They took the manga and elevated the little fanservice it had. A case where the anime made it more lewd, normally it's the other way around, anime adaptations normally have to tone down.

I remember when I started watching this anime, I fell in love with the action but ended up staying for the wholesomeness. A lovely interaction with flio and Rys, And I got to admit, at the end of episode 5, I could really feel the rage from filo And that's just what made me stay to see this anime through to the end. stat and the Booba. I will always be proud to admit that. As far as she my favourite Demi human, Cheers up there.
