White Privilege is the ability not to be brainwashed by the far left, plenty of black and Asian people have black privilege and that's why the far left try to bar them from their own Heritage and community, " do you identify as black?" Etc.

That’s what people don’t understand, it depends where u are born, meaning what kind of education your parents achieved and how they were able to pass that down to you so u can do better…. It doesn’t matter if your white, black and etc. Then so a person says, “ohhh but more black people are poor”, now a days is because they chose not to study or made bad choices in life, just like a lot of white people and other races too.

It shocks me how brainwashed these kids are!!! Horrifying!!! As a black man I was able to apply for grants white kids couldn’t. I applied for loans at lower interest than white kids could get. I was in an all black fraternity. What would be the uproar of an all white fraternity!!! Yet, the poor white kids I went to high school with were just as poor. Many even poorer. I knew kids who only ate at school because there were social programs that my family were fast tracked through and theirs were placed on a wait list. Why? Because of skin color. What is systemic racism? When even the government support’s disparate treatment because of the color of your skin…

Honestly, yes and no. Jim Crow and segregation affected the US in many ways. Black people had to fight to get the right to vote, to study at university and etc. The school provided for black people were also sub par with worse materials. Then we have testing that many black kids didn't perform well in. This was only decades ago. Thankfully, now we have more equal opportunity (better schools and materials) but now there is a social boundary (black kids don't believe they can successfully go to college). So them getting accepted to universities (having good grades and SAT scores) can provide that hope and break the social/mental wall. Because some black communities are crippling. BUT this "black or minority Equity gate" shouldn't be forever. It should be TEMPORARY--enough to inspire. Equity is important but it should be sustainable and encourage others to well. Also, I personally wish the black quota added seats to a university rather than take seats away from others.

No, it’s a hand-out and it does them no favors. In fact, filling these spots on a college campus solely due to a political agenda and not educational merit, will only lead to a more failed percentage of their demographic overall. This ultimately leads to a larger percentage of failed diversity students taking spots that could have otherwise been filled by more capable students of whatever race or origin. Those students may have succeeded where the others had failed as they were set up to fail.
@GeneralG1810
@GeneralG1810 Жыл бұрын
@Don Ready hand outs are a privilege, and yes they fail. But that doesn't matter because when they leave college, most companies have hiring quota's too, so they also get jobs they're not qualified for.

Exactly! That's the correct way to be raised, it makes socially conscious responsible adults that don't expect a handout from anyone. I was raised the exact same way. If you want something you work and set aside foolishness to get what you want. Too many people don't understand why others have something that they don't yet they spend every cent they have on things they don't need like designer clothes, shoe's and getting their hair and nails done constantly. In order to get what you want you have to make sacrifices and it's sad that too many people just don't get that, they want what they want, and they want it NOW....sorry but the world doesn't work like that.

@@mariannemarek6683 So: what about Asian privilege? If the system is systematically racist, then you must admit it’s racist towards white people as well because they’re more Asians graduating high school, and there are more Asians seeking higher education, and there are more Asians who graduate from higher education, and they also make more money per family, and they have the highest numbers of two parent families in the countryAnd they have the lowest number of people per capita in prison. So why isn’t there outrage for Asian American oppression? They certainly are the majority and a lot of them came over after World War II and Vietnam so they came here and flourished, so why can’t you? I agree with you

I get you. I am also black and didn't know what white privilege was until I entered the workforce. I have seen black employees (with more experience and qualifications) train their white counterparts only to have those white counterparts get a promotion and the black person(s) who trained them get overlooked. Indigenous people also experience the same thing. I have seen this and heard about it from others time and time again. Basically, in all my jobs (from my personal experience), the minorities almost always occupy lower positions while their white counterparts occupy higher positions-this happened to black employees regardless of how long they’ve been with the company and their aptitude. I looked at the websites of many companies in my field and realized that higher positions were held by white men, then usually followed by white women. There are exceptions where minorities occupy these positions, but remember, exceptions are called exceptions for a reason (i.e., not a regular occurrence). I remember during a company meeting where it dawned on me that the senior people, all white, were on one side of the table-it made me feel bad about myself and my people. White privilege has nothing to do with ability, it has to do with opportunities, i.e., being offered more opportunities by virtue of your skin colour compared to your minority counterparts.

Then got “kicked” out after cheating on a test which was literally me just naming if an event was original, what origin they came from, what their familia was, their genus, their species, their “identity”..? Why’d I cheat? Cuz it wasn’t knowledge it was just reciting whatever the teacher said and that isn’t learning… so I never listened when it turned into nonsense distractions. So yeah I cheated, not cuz I didn’t know it but because it wasn’t worth brain power and I’m not gunna give my brain power to someone who is just older and has a degree 😂. Access to capital is built into this caste system of lies worldwide. How many places can you name where Colonization destroyed the indigenous peoples and today most don't even have the land that they originally had. How did this happen? Yes, they were massacred, but those that remained were not allowed to take part in the economy. They were told to remove them selves from the land that their family's had for thousands of years or be killed. Their crops were taken or destroyed and they weren't allowed into the marketplace. They were erased. These are the people who were erasing whole countries of people world wide. You cannot fathom the damage and evil that was done to indigenous populations. Just like the Southern border. Why are people trying to come here? Because of Western meddling in their countries. Study the foreign policy of American government alone and the imposition of western companies taking resources and not paying what they are worth. Destabilizing governments and placing dictators and "puppets" in place to keep this Mercantile system in place. It's open theft.

When i got older I needed to apply for foodstamps & medicaid for a while. I had a baby, was pregnant, and my husband had cheated on me & i was alone. I only made $2.13 an hour & close to nothing in tips. This was back when employers could get away with paying less than minimum wage so long as they could claim you received any amount of tips. it was a buffet style restraunt, so very few even thought about it. The lady that accepts the paperwork said that the other lady did not want to approve me because I was white. I will never forget the shock, confusion & hurt I felt when she wispered that to me. I looked around the room & everywhere you look there was name brand stuff. I didn't have any of those things. It's so sad that the culture, especially among those of color, have been brainwashed into thinking white people are inherently evil, whilst many of them are ironically perpetuating racism. @@emerealm3779 I'm the kinda guy who might ask that question, but accepts that if I'm proven wrong, who am I to argue? The burden of proof does however lie with the person making the claim that something *does* exist or did happen, because, if something can't be proven to have ever existed or happened, i.e. there's no conclusive evidence or means of observing it, how would one prove that something *doesn't* exist? Would you accept someone simply holding out their hand, saying; "God is supposed to be everywhere, yet he doesn't seem to be in my hand". Why don't liars who say "if what I said was a lie, may God strike me down where I stand" tend to die? There is no way to readily prove the existence of any God or gods, and therefore there's no way of proving their non-existence, because we wouldn't know how to detect them to begin with. The words of the faithful don't prove anything either, as you wouldn't trust a flat-earther to tell you the truth after returning from a flight to find the "edge" or a Bigfoot believer supposedly finding "samples" that non-believers for some reason don't get to examine, seeing as the idea that they are so invested in hinges upon faith; a deep, sincere wish that something is true, rather than fact. Socialism doesn't work, never has, and people still irrationally hold on to the notion that one day it will. The concept of gender as separate from sex was conceived of by an emotionally disturbed sexologist, who happened to also be a pedophile, with deep-rooted childhood trauma and might himself have suffered from the mental disorder we call gender dysphoria, and still so many hold on to it and attack or at least brand those who openly express disagreement as basically heretics. I hope you don't take this as a personal attack, as that was not my intention. I merely wanted to explain that I think true believers need to be better than their critics, not treat their texts as objective fact and those who don't believe as if they are ignorant or wrong. I want Christianity to return to prominence in the west and restore it to something close to the relative peace and stability it had before the woke plague and the socialist religion filled the void that was left after traditional values were increasingly eroded, but bible-bashing doesn't reflect well upon the flock, so to speak.

They mistake white privilege for a blessing and opportunity that there's actually supported them enough to get to that point in life. Every ethnicity has the ability to be successful but not everyone pulls thru with it because life is tempting once your actually out of school. Making a family is a temptation. Drugs and alcohol is a temptation. A job to survive is a temptation. Not spending your money as you get it is a temptation not every parent is able to resist for the better of their kids or there own success. It just so happens that african americans screem white privilege because they dont understand the sacrifice and time and effort it takes to not make dumb choices or taking a step foward thats scary and hard but lead to greater things . Like getting a new job. Finding a quality man and not just choosing from your dms. If you shoot your shot as a female most likely then not. The guys gonna say yes because it means you want him more then he wants you .

I am white. My sister is white. Our parents made too much money for her to get grants, but not enough money to pay for her college. So she did what she had to do. She was a full time student, she worked at school, she had an evening hours job, and she had a job on weekends. She worked her butt off to be able to go to school. So, forget privilege. She made her own way. Everyone can make their own way. It’s so sad that it’s 2024, and we’re still talking about race. People are people. Stop judging by color. SMH

I utterly reject the term "white privilege" in favour of "coloured discrimination". While the former term calls for levelling downwards, the letter calls for levelling upwards. I heared whote privilege is about _not_ being discriminated against, mocked, policed for no reason or even being assaulted just because of their race. However, this should considered a human right rather than a privilege, and not I, as a white man, am privileged but many people of colour are withheld some of their rights.

@psycoloco 111 the curriculum teachers and professors alike are made to follow is one that does not appreciate or leave any room for free thinking. You may encounter teachers and professors who think more outside the box than others but the truth of the matter is they too were indoctrinated and told what to think. Every single one of us has been indoctrinated and victim to this. We're only now starting to be taught and told truths that have been known all along by those who create the curriculums. The worst of them all, imo, is medical school curriculum. It's not only affected our minds, having drs taught what they were/are, it's affected the health of every single individual who has ever needed the "professional advice" of one.
@alchemybyangela

@psycoloco 111 being indoctrinated certainly makes one believe they've been taught properly and fully. There's actually little education received through "education" and, unfortunately, this has been so for quite some time. While I agree in some sentiment as a white person who grew up very poor in a trailer park just like you described, I still had white privilege. I didn't get bullied for the color of my skin or the texture of my hair, like some girls who were better off financially than me did. I got to experience society in a way that was catered to me, in a way people with other skin colors didn't. I got to see myself in every character, in every doll/toy. A million choices for me, compared to very few choices for brown and black kids to look too. And not to mention the very different experience with authority, that I as a white person growing up had compared to my black and Mexican friends. I remember once I was with a group of friends as a teen, and we were very lost. I saw a cop, and right away and asked for directions. My friends were pretty astounded I would just walk up to an officer like that. One was black the other was Mexican, and they both explained that they would've never gone up to an officer for directions because they'd be scared of getting in trouble for something, and getting arrested or hurt. We weren't doing anything wrong, so the fact that they were worried about interacting with the cops was a huge surprise to me. One of many times I recognized that I did have some privilege even as a very poor white person, who regularly went without heat or food because we were so broke, obviously rich people have more privileges and access. But there is white privilege, the privilege of living in a society which primarily caters to white/fair skin and not having your skin color affect how people treat you

I explained to him that it had nothing to do with finances back then but about access. If his mom found a dollar on the ground and wanted a hamburger, she could walk into any restaurant and buy one. If my mom found a dollar, hell if my mom had five dollars, she wasn’t allowed in certain restaurants because of the color of her skin. The dining experience between the two was totally different.
