"Where Does He Work?" - No Country For Old Men (2007) #shorts #nocountryforoldmen #moviescene
No Country for Old Men is a 2007 American neo-Western crime thriller film written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, based on Cormac McCarthy's 2005 novel of the same name. Starring Tommy Lee Jones, Javier Bardem, and Josh Brolin, the film is set in the desert landscape of 1980 West Texas. The film revisits the themes of fate, conscience, and circumstance that the Coen brothers had explored in the films Blood Simple (1984), Raising Arizona (1987), and Fargo (1996). The film follows three main characters: Llewelyn Moss (Brolin), a Vietnam War veteran and welder who stumbles upon a large sum of money in the desert; Anton Chigurh (Bardem), a hitman who is sent to recover the money; and Ed Tom Bell (Jones), a sheriff investigating the crime. The film also stars Kelly Macdonald as Moss's wife Carla Jean and Woody Harrelson as a bounty hunter seeking Moss and the return of the $2 million.

He fkng can't. Any real man knows you use ur words & fists equally. You can't tie ppl in chairs publicly without SWAT kicking ur brains in. You fight covertly. He tried intimidation, he tried repetition, if he could he would fight, if he was dumb he would fight a woman in public & be a goner pretty quick since it's obv Texas & he's guilty of more things. Hell she is at liberty to say nothing. Do u know what that means? He shoots her, he gets neither a word nor his freedom. He threatens, he loses rights to be on the private property, & he can't do shit since she's in the public. Outside movies, u fight & sneak with a mask. If u're seen it's better they be dead than go to the cops. That means no one sees, no one knows. Death is only sustainably used by the rich when they need someone gone & tried it the legal ways already.

@@rinerwainkler3108While double negation *technically* is a thing, so is a reinforced negative a thing.
