Mv dear brother, eka ale lati ilu Jamani. I was led to your channel, I will like us to communicate , because I've been searching for your generation, especially those, who have passion for history, our histories. Rejoice with me, because the Most High Olodumare has led us to hidden histories of our ancestors. This country , am living in, played a major role in our destruction, with the Romans, Greeks, Ashkenazi Jews, Arabs, Americans and their European cohorts. Our histories hundreds of millions of so called artifacts are collecting dusts in basements of Museums, Libraries, Hospitals all over western Europe, especially in england, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium. They destroyed us more than any can think or envision or imagine. Your video speaks many volumes of lost but found histories. Kudos. 4:19 very interesting bruh, lets talk. Please get in touch. Have a good night.

Correction: a) Yorubas are NOT Benins b) Yorubas did not come from Benin c) Benin did not come from Yoruba d) Both Benin and Yoruba are from Egypt. The Yoruba were the medicine men and sculptors of Egypt, while the Benin were bureaucrats. That's why the Benin establishes rulership and the Yoruba established sculpting and religions. e) Oduduwa was from Benin, a Prince who distinguished himself from the elders (no kings at the time) in Yoruba land to become their first king. So, Benin created kingship for the Yoruba just as they did for many other peoples. f) Yoruba always existed as a separate entity with common Egyptian links with Benin, Igala, Nupe, Igbo, Ethiopians, etc. g) It is wrong to say Benin originated from Yoruba or Yoruba originated from Benin. That's a fallacy.

@@ayodaramola Google and KZfaq on documentaries linking Benin, Yoruba etc to Egypt. An undisputed fact is that the Egyptian aborigines were ALL Blacks and the first Pharaohs were ALL Blacks. The settling and invasion by others (Arabs, Syrians, Greeks, Romans, etc) is the reason for the mix today. But, X-ray, and other scientific evaluations of the early Pharaohs show that they were 100% Blacks. Also, just for your knowledge, Black Africans were the originators of dynasties around the world, including Asia (the Chinese, Japanese, etc), Europe (the UK etc), South and North America (the Incas etc), and so on ie anywhere you have pyramids.

The Igodomiodo kingship stool was created in 40 BC by Igodo. The Benin Kingdom (or Empire) was not founded until 1100 AD by Iweka I (the son of Oranmiyan)... Possibly it's the conquered Nok culture people remnants who Oduduwa met in the land today called Ile-Ife that try to corrupt this history. Oranmiyan's older brother sibling Biritiokun (considered the first Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, my hometown...though he never made it to Ado-Ekiti) is my direct ancestor many times removed. He died in Benin (then Use) circa 12 00 AD while with his younger brother sibling Oranmiyan, Olofin Oduwuwa's last born.

Yoruba has it that oduduwa was a foreigner not from okeora 😅😂😂 and till today only the benins bear that oduduwa as names. And again which language did the binis used in communicate with oduduwa 😅, stop arguing and accept the reality. Benin are not dragging anything with the Yoruba but the history has to b told properly and Yoruba did not come to existence till amalgamation, the foreigner only knows about the Benins in west Africa till recently everyone started cooking lies. After the amalgamation they assign ajayi crowder to teach the language for oyo that’s why most of the people speak Yoruba and Igbo to the east even part of edo, delta and the anambra still Igbo but they knew that roots same with many parts that u call Yoruba nation today but they know their roots

@@oluyinkaadefisan2186 Why are you manufacturing stories to support a false reality, when that is unnecessary? The binis have always had a strict military/governmental system, which was exported to Ile-ife and then to Oyo via Oduduwa. The people of Ile-ife already existed, but they weren't as organised bureaucratically. Like many other forest communities around the Niger. Even till date you find out insignia of government and authority in many "Yoruba" palaces, even recently the Ooni has started wearing the round neck coral bead, which is a distinctive Benin ornament.

My brother, right from the beginning, your logic was all babas, bananas, wrongfuni, BS, saying "how can a place with a small population rule over Yoruba? Not all Yoruba in those lands speaks the same Yariba language! Easily seen are the OWO, and one other place Omonoyan went to establish and they know they are part of Benin and in that Yariba environment! As said earlier, so we have the population exactly in Benin-----The Urhobos, Ijaws, Ikweres, some of the Itshekiris, Isokos, Esans, Asaba, Onitsha...the list goes on and on. Just like you have your nearby speaking similar DIALETE does not mean you are much more than that Benin! Let's add all those aforementioned places above and let's see which has the larger population, mumu!! What kind of logic is that? Listen, BENIN EMPIRE! THERE IS NO YORUBA EMPIRE, RIGHT? NO ILE-IFE EMPIRE, RIGHT? That small Benin ruled over many countries of WEST AFRICA, not only Ile-Ife, ok. Remember the REPUBLIC OF BENIN? the former DAHOMEY? Do you think that was a coincidence? Benin ruled even to Ghana, and the facts are there till today, go do your research, my man, small pickin! We do not argue that the Yoruba did not exist before Izoduwa came there, NO, NO, NO! That is not the point! Whether you/they came from Egpyt or Mecca, that is your problem. However, talking of your PROGINATOR that you now adore as Oduduwa as your progenitor, Izoduwa (Oduduwa) for God's sake is from Benin! It is not a coincidence to have the name IZODUWA (ODUDUWA) and OMONOYAN (OROMIYAN) These two names are purely Benin/Edo names (IZODUWA/OMONOYAN). You cannot never refute that or rebut that because there is no way! I understand it is very painful for some of you to look at Benin/Edo as your progenitor. I myself might feel that way too. But the fact is the fact, truth is the truth, even by just looking that the names my friend. STOP TRYING TO CAJOLE, AND MANIPULATE HISTORY! You will NEVER WIN!

Yoruba is a tonal language, the Egyptian language isn't. So when you see these lists of so called similar words that should tell you it's false. Yoruba doesn't work like English where one letter has one sound. Yorubas were created by God on Yorubaland. When whites came and saw Yoruba artworks they claimed it had semblance to artworks in Egypt and suggested that Yorubas might be from Egypt or somewhere in the far East. Of recent, Benin revisionists, in attempts to disclaim that their Oba came from Ife started a new theory which is known to them only. Yorubas came from nowhere other than Yorubaland.

First and foremost, the fact that the first king of a major city is from somewhere doesn't mean that's their ancestor. Oduduwa is father of yoruba because he was the first king of a unified ife. Also oduduwa has absolutely nothing to do with benin or Egypt or mecca. The source of the mecca or Egypt hypothesis stems from sultan Bello of sokoto who associated mecca and the middle east as origin of manh ethnic groups. The egyptian hypothesis is a racist inspired theory for many African ethnic groups if you do your research it's based on the hamitic hypothesis. To know where oduduwa comes from its traditions from ife and ifa you consult which sultan bello, samuel Johnson and other writers never asked. Oduduwa like other heroes who were deified are said to come from heaven however their human history starts from locations some in ife and some around ife. Oduduwa cane from oke ora Hill settlement around ife. He wrestled power from obatala the head of the confederacy United ife as one monarchy and became the first oghone(ooni) and from there several prince's and hunters were sount out to expand ifes influence. One of them many years later was oranmiyan who went to benin and then Old Oyo-ile. Falling for the egyptian/mecca trap is what led to your erroneous conclusion to give plausibility to the fraudulent benin claims and revisions which sprang up with no sources in the 1970s. Their so called exiled prince ekaladerhan died in ughatan in a story collected in the 1890s by a British officer. @@Daysofold No lets be careful and not obstuficate things. What I've presented is not ny theory. Instead of mocking it why not go through the books and as well get access to jstor and research yourself where the mecca hypothesis comes from?? I see youre doing a good job promoting our culture. Mocking good informatio like this is only insulting. When we link ourselves to Egypt or mecca we reduce ourselves and our civilization. Also in terms of the heaven origin. It's not only oduduwa that comes from heaven. So this is a not a matter of everyone's hypothesis. When we look at it careful it's easy to see the source of this misconceptions. All deities are from heaven and have a human historical settlement they are from. No archaeological or scientific evidence any yoruba person is from Egypt or the middle East. In fact whats been found is that igbo and yoruba people and edo etc were once on people existing around the Niger-Benue River Confluence before separation and dispersal all this based on linguistics and some archaeological findings. The source of the mecca Egypt migration is linked to sultan Bello of sokoto and was later adopted by samuel johnson a yoruba repatriated former slave who wrote it clearly where he got the information from. This was later attributed to oduduwa alone as an origin story from him. Go to jstor, read thoss books I outlined. Do deeper research don't just take what we see and hear easily around us and then obstuficate everything. There's a logical objective analysis of everything Let's tell the right stories my brother.

@@ulebegorakhere2519 You guys keep repeating this fallacy and asking for what has been debunked to be debunked. Does oduduwa sound benin too you as well. Some how the benin assume that some questions don't apply to them because you're trying to do cultural theft and turn things on its head. Hence you say oduduwa is some corruption which is blatantly false. You can't be in benin and be making assertions for ife. And the benin stories have been debunks severally. The ooni has never mentioned anyone like ekaladerhan or izoduwa existed in ife. The narrative has always been that oduduwa came from heaven to a place around ife like every other deified hero of the time and some of his descendants which includes oranmiyan was sent to found benin and benin earlier tradiotons confirm this. The ooni released a publication that "benin remained part of the ever expanding yoruba(Ife) kingdom" also our academic historians like professor banji akitoye, akinwunmi ogundiran have written books, peer reviewed to clarify certain conspiracies. I'll explain in depth in my next post and you can also read my earlier posts in this thread
@toyosioyejobi309
@toyosioyejobi309 2 жыл бұрын
@@ulebegorakhere2519 I will start with ekaladerhan/izoduwa fiction. It was never known to benin until 1970s when chief omoregie stated in a publication that ekaladerhan went to ife and became oranmiyan to the people of ife. Ekaladerhans story as written by benin historian egharevba earlier in 1930s and also collected in the 1890s stated he died in ughatan(I have proof for all this just ask me so you can read😁). Now that same ekaladerhan/izoduwa became oranmiyan and when oba erediauwa was to write his book, he wrote that ekaladerhan was now oduduwa father of oranmiyan. It was obvious that because of politics of superiority and uniqueness, what all have always known to be that ornamiyan from ife founded benin which egharevba wrote and which a lot of europeans collected from benin itself was subverted and changed in the 1970s. Now to Oduduwa. Oduduwa is absolutely not a corruption, you can't just make assertions that are untrue. Oduduwa means odu to da uwa (the source or repository of existence). Moreover in benin, ugie oduduwa is celebrated and known not ugie izoduwa or ugie ekaladerhan. According to oral tradiotons he's from oke ora Hill a settlement just outside of ife. He cane to ife and fought of obatala and united ife into a kingdom. No tradition in ife has oduduwa from mecca or from benin. The mecca hypothesis was as a result of sultan Bello of sokoto who gave middle eastern origins to a lot of ethnic groups around the river Niger. This was later attributed to oduduwa the patriarch of all yoruba kingdoms and ife kingdom and popularized in academia. Note that egyptian/middle eastern theories of origin for people and/ kings was also popular in ancient times for many african kingdoms and peoples, Benin was not also left out as egharevba had though the benin came from Egypt to ife also. Now, About the heaven hypothesis all heroes of ife at the time were deified as irunmoles who came from heaven. That can be said about the ogisos as well who came from heaven as well. It's a myth to honor them after death moreover all humans are from heaven(orun) in yoruba spirituality as well as other African spirituality. I'm sure all the other yoruba heroes and deities aren't from benin as well right? Exactly that's how poor that logic is. Traditions state his human existence (oduduwa) began at oke ora hill and then to ife where he wrestled power and united ife from a confederacy to one of the first kingdoms in the area and this system was later exported via many prince's and hunters when ife started expanding this includes the oranmiyan who was sent to restore order and found the new benin kingdom with the same monarchial system from ife into the area... The rest of the story is well known ile ubinu, eweka(owomika)

Ooduwa wasn't a real person. Ife isn't the origin of yorubas. Ife was only a kingdom. To understand oral traditions requires one to be tactical. The claim to an Ife origin by most yoruba is due to the Ife rule of those towns or tribes. Oyo thrived 17th-18th centuries, many yorubas also claim an Oyo origin, that doesn't mean that those people, like Egba-yoruba, began during the 18th century. @@Daysofold it may surprise you but I am just being honest. I've been reading about ancient Egypt and other ancient civilisations. I also am reading about anthropology and what the origin of religion is. I also try a lot to dissect the origin of most yoruba words. I also keep reading about the history of igbos, Edo, yoruba , Igala, itshekiri and all other related groups. And I keep trying to understand, if not reconstruct what the original yoruboid language was, before splitting up into dialects and languages. After pondering all of the above, I've been able to see that; oral traditions are not to be taken wholeheartedly, they contain exaggerations and legends. Take for instance the name for god of iron, Ogun. The name could have come from an old yoruboid word, Ògúnná. Ògúnná Is either a red hot charcoal or redhot metal. How it became a name for a spirit of metals can be explained to the concept of animism ( the belief that everything has life, the origin of every religion). Since Ogunna( Ogun for short) was a useful tool for mostly blacksmiths, it became to be worshipped by them. Soon Ogun must have become personalised, giving human attributes to this spirit made it a complete deity. The earliest blacksmiths of iremogun in modern day Ekiti must have been the first to initiate the worship of Ogun. Soon, Ogun became a god not for blacksmiths alone but also for hunters, farmers, carvers, and all other craftsmen who used metals in their professions. Soon, stories and legends that personalised Ogun, came into being, and that's how we have Ogun,god of iron. My first suspicion about Ife being related to the Igbo of eastern Nigeria came when I first saw similarities between Ife and Igboukwu arts. Do you know that Igboukwu is earlier than Ife? Then I thought, what if it actually influenced Ife art? If you have seen Ife and Igboukwu arts, you would have noticed facial markings on both. After

Oduduwa is not from anywhere else But Nigeria Ubini to be precise. that Oduduwa came from heaven in the 12th century!!! habaa that's is a myth. the Ogisos were also said to have come from heaven because they were seen to be God's representatives and heaven direction to the Edo or Benins is upward to the sky, so they called them the sky kings, meaning one from heaven. the family lineage Oduduwa came from is still in Benin they were the ones who accompanied the Elders of Igodomigodo kingdom to Ile Ife to bring back their Son. let us separate facts from myth. just for the knowledge Ubini or Benin was the centre or capital of Igodomigodo kingdom it was later known as Ore-edo in the days of Oba Ewere the first. today both names are still used to describe them same place.
