I think that we all forget that Mark and Tony as a rhythm section were as tight as a gnat's chuff. Awesome live band. I seen them many times and eventually got to work with them. Many times after a Barrowland gig I'd go home a stone lighter due to the amount of sweat! Happy days

Have every album..+DVD...lucky to see them in LA at the Palace...right after steeltown...just one of the best shows ever....Steeltown...the best album...but all good....very tight band...stuart..very underated guitarists....just ask the edge...but each of them..great players...drummer amazing......one of the greatest bands.....Europeans will tell you that...in america..all you hear is one song...in a big country....sad....they are not one hit wonders....they...sold..millions of albums.....and....have so many great songs that never get played......their music still stands the test of time...

Saw them twice in Liverpool, without doubt the best live band I ever saw. Music is still as good then as it is now, still have the Crossing & Greatest Hits in my car which gets blasted out on my way to work on nights to get me in the mood. RIP Stuart a true genius greatly missed.

@dbc1dc That was Bruce's guitar that went all to pot, he is playing the intro lead lines here, Stuart is playing the toned down rhythm part. A rare mistake indeed for BC. Nine years on & never forgotten. RIP Stuart
@johnny58053 жыл бұрын
Are you sure ? I've never heard Bruce play a bum note, ever. Whereas Stuart was always messing up.
@Coppertunes3 жыл бұрын
@@johnny5805 wow, that was 10 year ago I wrote that. Yes pretty sure, I don't think it was a bum note as such, he may have hit something off camera, or had stumble. You see Tony looking over and smiling after.

How do you mess up mixing this?
@dbc1dc14 жыл бұрын
Wish I could see what happened with Stu in the intro when the guitar note went haywire, Tony looked concerned. Seemed Stu had some guitar problems at this concert, his guitar wouldn't play at the beginning of Inwards either.

Note how the defective soundtrack reduces the 1st guitar leaving at full power the 2nd (B.Watson). Stuart was beautiful, sure he had not the potato nose like others (G.Michael and S.LeBon)

Man kann sich nicht vorstellen, dass man das besser spielen kann als die 4. Punkt .Der Text bringt Dummheit von Krieg und Mensch auf den Punkt. Sowas gutes wird es nicht noch einmal geben.
