I got you sir. So for me I don’t go to Medellin or Colombia in general for sex. I started going there last year and I have meet a few ladies through friends. Anyway I also have gone to a couple casa which is for me safe. Overall though like you say in your videos if you have game you have it and if you don’t you don’t and a lot of guys going there trying to live a dream that is not real.

I had fun for a couple years. Got played a couple times, but on the whole it was good. Then met my wife. I know men get played/scammed a lot but i don’t think it’s the norm unless you only come down for a short time and don’t speak Spanish

Just found your channel and wow is it a relief! I’m a married guy so a lot of this doesn’t apply to me but so many gems and universal truths in this video. I’m a traveler and plan on retiring abroad in 10 years. I’m fluent in Spanish and currently Colombia is at the top of my list for retirement. You hit the nail on with ex pats not speaking Spanish. Astounds me people think they can understand a culture without speaking the language

Absolutely true what was said in this video. Been to Colombia many times and have seen how important it is to be careful in how you approach and what type of female you should be approaching. Stay away from clubs to meet a life partner. Best bet is to make friends a good family and after a while through these friends you may have a chance to meet and get to know a quality female with values no games

Wes thank you for making a channel like this. I've been thinking of going to Columbia because I have friends here in the states through church from Columbia that woke my interest. Especially when I see some of the rivers, lakes and sceneries I've seen they're beautiful and in every single picture I see beautiful women in Colombia but I had already heard a lot about stuff, so never took the time to do the research. i have an older life long friend [65yrs old] married to a 30yr old colombian 4yrs now...I've noticed colombian dating sites most of the women are looking for older guys[I'm coming to buy a condo in a few months...so have been checking them out] I already know from a friends experience...if a colombian girl asks u 4 $ no matter how good the story sounds ur getting played! stick to women max 10 yrs age difference between u & she MUST b in school or working!

Do not listen to him. In Colombia they kill for sport. The best way to avoid getting robbed in Colombia is not going to Colombia, yes. you heard that right. Choose another destination where you dont have to worry about getting killed, robbed or drugged. I decided not to put my life in constant risk. I just travel to the Phillipines and Dominican Republic, two great places where you know that will not get killed. I dont work for a tourist office in Colombia. My advise is to get a different destination.

I am going back to Colombia for the third time this May. I had 'dealings' with two women there, but I knew what I was getting into, so it was no serious expectations there. With this third woman I met, she's closer to my age (I'm 45 she's 37 years old) and yes she has kids and don't want anymore, shes a better fit for me. To be honest, even if I hadn't met her, I would still retire there. I'm not looking for the 'fast life', I don't drink or smoke and I don't go to clubs a lot. Bottom line is that we get in what we put into it. You spot on, brother. You have a new subscriber.

I speak very little Spanish, but I was curious where I can learn another language efficiently? Reason being i went to Cancun tulumn and when I left I said I’d live here 😂 but I realize not knowing the language will put me at a disadvantage.

Wes. I came here first time at 40. I’m not particularly good looking but I spoke some Spanish, went out with a ton of girls. Most much more attractive than I am. . If you go into it with no expectations, and you go in just thankful you can afford to take a woman out every day without breaking the bank, IDK, I think a guy can enjoy himself with women of all ages. If you come into things with an attitude that you don’t expect sex, you just want to learn about the culture, improve your Spanish and have fun, the sky is the limit (and you will find sex ) . If you don’t care about the culture, stay home. People can feel that. And if you’re in your 40s, yeah, you can go out with a 20 year old and have a good time, but keep in mind, she wants to experience the world in most cases. Not settle down and be a housewife. I’m a step dad now, and I don’t regret it, but I had a rule: I never had kids so I’ll take on one, but I won’t take on 2 that aren’t my own.

Yep. Dudes go to these places and just rotate through the girls who can speak a bit of english and are looking for money to support ther lifestyle. I've seen it in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and even Japan. The guys who I see being successful are the ones who learn the language and look for a wife who has no involvement with foreigners through work or play and cant speak english.

I disagree that getting a wife defines a man's success. Also foreign men in Colombia are at different stages in life. Many older ones are divorced in the states and prefer to live single.

Truth! Bro I everytime I go to Medellin I run into obnoxious Americans being super loud, flashy, looking for the vices that illegal in the states. Also they don't even learn Spanish, they expect the locals to understand them or are beginners Spanish level speaking ability. That's why I don't ever really stay in Medellin other than the layover night stay to head to a less tourist-y city.

@@johannesvonsaaz3987 I'd say Cartagena but then again that's my opinion. Cali is a bit rough IMO. unless you want to do Salsa everyday. Cali is also less tourist-y so make sure your Spanish is pretty good.

@@johannesvonsaaz3987 If your traveling with someone that's cool, but please keep in mind the less tourist-y a city is the more you'll need to know Spanish. Out of all 4 major cities in Colombia. Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena & Cali. Cali is the least English speaking of them all , Ive been to Colombia I want to say 6 times now all in 5consecutive years and still haven't gone there. But I have been to all thee other cities including Manizales. Keep this rule of thumb, if your Spanish is not so good, get good lol. Not trying to insult just saying. Otherwise it's better off you only go to two locations, either Medellin or Cartagena..

Me gustan tus vídeos y quiero aprender inglés para verlos sin subtítulos😊. Sabes algo Wes? soy mamá divorciada, con valores cristianos, mis hijos y yo no necesitamos un gringo para sobrevivir, pero me encanta ver el liderazgo que tienen en el hogar muchos extranjeros y cómo valoran a las esposas y a los hijos, eso me ha llevado a querer un esposo extranjero. Me siento un poco ofendida cuando en algunos comentarios dicen que solamente se encontrarán buenas mujeres en postgrados, mujeres universitarias, mujeres con profesiones o en iglesias. De las anteriores solamente cumplo un requisito y es que he asistido a iglesias pero eso no me hace más que otras mujeres, tengo a Cristo en mi corazón e infundo valores a mis hijos pero hay gente buena en toda parte aunque no hayan contado con el dinero para estudiar en grandes universidades.

señora vamos las colombianas si son muy interesadas especialmente en las grandes ciudades bogota y medellin si uno no tiene carro y buen ingreso deja de ser un buen partido y tambien la cantidad de madres solteras muchas niñas que no saben ni donde estan paradas de 20 con 2 hijos muchas veces el papa es un delicuente o un vago entonces seamos realistas una pareja que valga la pena esta muy dificil que sinceramente a veces creo que es mejor salir y conseguir una mujer en otro pais

@@yadi8583 mi señora yo no estoy diciendo que no haya mujeres con principios en Colombia pero conseguirlas esta bien difícil así como este video la cantidad de extranjeros que chicas han drogado con escopolamina para robarlos incluso los han matado, en los barrios populares uno ve niñas hermosas saliendo con drogadictos y ñeros la realidad en Colombia es muy terrible que hay cosas buenos no se lo niego pero en muchos sentidos Colombia es una porquería una vergüenza de país

The whole 40 and 50 thing isn't really an issue if you took care of your looks. Notice he said that the doctor guy is overweight. Staying fit, being well groomed, and having a decent style will go a long way for older guys.

Hey Wes. I think even mentioning you're from the US is bad idea because if the woman is indeed a goldigger she will immediately think "Oh this guy must have a lot of money or if I marry him I'll get papers to be able to live in the US" Spanish is my native tongue so I won't have a language barrier issue. When I go to Colombia, I'd like to meet you. Best regards!
